abunda_amazon_reviews ADDENDUM: 8/6/2018. I just had to come back and up this to 5 stars; 6 if I could! The more I use it, the more I like it. I refinished my kitchen cabinets and used this on all of the hinges - perhaps 40 hinges X 6 screws each(?). It performed flawlessly through each day without needing a recharge and, held torque and speed the whole time. To be honest, I was surprised at just how well it performed. This is unbeatable for the money. END OF UPDATE I read some of the reviews before I bought this, especially the 1 and 2 star reviews. But, after a couple of 4 and 5 star reviews, I decided to try it out. OK; it is definitely a light duty tool but, that is expected. After all it is $20.00 not $120.00. One of the complaints was that it didn't drill very well(?). It most definitely is NOT a drill. It doesn't claim to be a drill so I was surprised at the reviewers expectations. Another was that it didn't have much torque or power. That is also true but, that is why it has a lock setting for breaking loose and snugging up the screws by hand. The very big advantage it gives is speed and continuity. That is, not needing to re-position your hand every quarter turn and possibly loosing contact with the screw head and dropping the screw because you were using your other hand to hold the pieces in position etc., etc. There were also complaints about the battery not holding a charge or, in a couple cases, not charging at all. I would suspect one of two things here. One is that the reviewer didn't read the instructions and fully charge it properly the first time and, the other is they just got a defective product. That's why Amazon has a great return/exchange policy. I've had to use it unfortunately and all was made right. The one complaint I completely agree with, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the location of the power switch and the awkward way it operates. However, this is not a big problem to overcome. In short; it is what it is and, there is no reason to fault it for not being a full size drill/driver tool. If you want to drill and drive torque and power, get a rechargeable hand drill, not a cordless screwdriver.;;Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;It is what it is for $20 and worth it.(It just went to$17.);;Wiz;;/gp/customer-reviews/R2DM5H6O1YLQ2P/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B005LTNLDS;;;I was looking into getting a electric screw driver at a low cost because the battery of my drill die and I didn't want to pay over 50 dollars for a new battery just to use it as a screw driver. So I ended deciding to buy this model because of price and reviews. I received it and opened it right away to use it. It has little charge that worked fort what I needed it. The package instructions says to charge the first time for a minimum of 16 hrs. So I did that after. The weight and grip are very good. The tork and power are perfect. You have forward and reverse to screw in and screw out. You can also set it to manual screw in. Which is good to finalize tightening any screw. The ability to adjust the folding of the driver gives the chance to work around any job. This item comes with wall charger it also includes 2 bits in the package which is good for starters. You will need to buy additional sizes and shapes to get all your jobs done in a jiffy. What I would change from this item is to add a space where to put the 2 bits it comes with. Maybe a design in the actual driver that incorporates them in would be a solution. The battery life has been fine. It did run out of juice one time I was using it for a good while. The other times it has been OK. Seems like whoever used this has never used a power screwdriver before. 1. No place to store the other (Phillips/flat) bit. Good luck finding it after a year. Should just be the same bit that you flip around, or at least have two different sizes on the same bit. 2. Trigger and direction change are the same button. Who thought that was a good idea? You go to put in a screw, then realize you’re set to unscrew, so you try to flip to the other direction, but wind up unscrewing more and dropping the screw in the process. Really a bad combination of functions. 3. No charge indicator light. Is it charging? Charged? You’ll never know! It is perfect for lightweight projects like putting together toys, screwing in wall plates etc. Anything above that, there really isn't enough torque. It comes with flat head and Philips bits, but no storage case. That's kind of a problem for me since I don't have a tool box now. There is no charge indicator on the screw driver which is no big deal for me. After use I just place it on the charger until it's needed again. You do have the ability to position the handle in 3 positions. You are also able to change this to a manual screw driver which is a nice addition.
