A built-in light indicator and audible alert system informs you when the bucket is at maximum capacity. Our overflow shutoff feature automatically shuts off the unit when the tank is full to prevent spills. Includes a 1.64’L drain hose for continuous draining from high to low. Also works with a standard garden hose (not included) for continuous gravity feed drain. Other features include a 2-speed fan, auto defrost function and a 24-hour on/off timer Can I use a different hose for draining other than the one given? Yes, the drain port and adapter allow use with a standard garden hose (not included). This allows a gravity feed drain into a floor drain or suitable drainage facility. How does the continuous drainage hose work? Water can be automatically emptied by attaching the clear hose (included) or a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port on the back of the dehumidifier. Does the appliance turn off when the bucket is full? Yes. When the water collection bucket is full, the unit will shut off automatically, make a beeping noise and the BUCKET FULL indicator will light. The dehumidifier will not run again until the bucket is emptied and placed back in the unit. When will you know it’s time to clean the filter? When the filter needs to be cleaned, the filter indicator light will come on after approximately 250 hours of use. Does this unit have a drain pump? No. This unit does not have a drain pump but we do offer a larger 50-pint capacity model with a built-in drain pump for those that require automatic draining.
