Some people complained it’s too noisy or it got too heavy. Well they were just a bunch of people looking for a reason to complain. Yes it can be noisy. But nothing a decent pair of headphones couldn’t block out. It can get heavy after long periods of use, but so can all blowers. One person even complained that it gets dirty. Well duh you’re working outside in the dirt and leaves of course it’s gonna get dirty. So now for my review. The blower was flawless once I took the tip off the blower and then it would just move the leaves across my yard so much faster and easier with the small tip off of it. Once piled up into a large bundle of leaves I really got impressed when I decided to not use the bagger and just let it suck up the leaves and mulch the leaves. Saved me from having to fill the bag, empty the bag and repeat that process over and over. This way I could continue working without stopping and just let it eat the leaves and spit them out into small pieces. If I had to recommend this to anyone. You bet your a** I would recommend this to anyone. Well worth every penny I spend and out performed my gas blower that blew up. Don’t listen to all the cry babies saying it’s to heavy, or to loud, or gets dirty easy. Those are minor problems that I would consider to be personal problems. Hope this review helps everyone considering this black and decker leaf blower/ leaf vacuum bagger.

I purchased this because I have been using one for years and I can’t break it. But, since it’s so old and very used I thought it would be a good idea to get one to back me up once the original finally gives up the ghost. The new model has a lower MPH and a plastic impeller compared to the metal impeller on the older model. To be fair, I’ve not given the new one enough time to truly compare impellers so we will see but not sure why B&D felt the need to make this change since it’s been so successful as is. Hopefully it’s as good as the older model.

I really liked this blower mulcher except it’s extremely loud. I could wear earplugs to counteract that and hope the neighbors don’t hate me, but the other thing I didn’t like was the location of the switch that controls the speed. It was awkwardly placed so you had to balance the blower with one arm while trying to adjust the speed with other.

The blower was easy to assemble and it’s light enough to not tire out the hands. It’s a little noisy but no worse than other brands. I have two negative items to mention… it doesn’t work well with wet leaves and it is much too easy to hit the speed switch while being used.

We have an enclosed concrete entrance to our basement and it is almost impossible to clean out the leaves and debris that drift down there because there is nowhere to blow it away. A leaf vacuum is exactly what I needed. It is very powerful, it even sucked up damp leaves that were matted down. It is corded, which suits me fine in this limited space - it might be a little more challenging if you're using it in the whole yard. Also, I like not having to fool with chargers, this is ready to go whenever I need a quick clean up. I didn't buy it specifically for a blower (I already have a cordless one) but I might end up using this to blow leaves off my deck as well.

Very happy with this purchase. The mulcher worked very well, unfortunately some small stones got vacuumed but did not cause an issue. The bag did get heavy on my shoulder. Overall I'm pleased.

The rate for blowing is quite impressive but the vacuum is very slow. I wish it could have a better vacum rate with different level. Other than that, everything is great.
