I got this rug to help complete my walk in closet/ bougie room. I wanted an unusual shape rug to help even out the floor with the rest of the decore. This rug does all that and more. I got it in the mail today and I laid it out on the floor and I gasped. Literally gasped out of delight for how much this rug just makes me happy. Itās soooo soft and it goes so well with my oddity of a design choices! I was nervous about it, due to it being hair and not ārugā like material. But it is beyond soft and I did get a little glitter from my feet on it and it vacuumed extremely easy. I honestly couldnāt be happier. It got here in 2 days with prime, even though I didnāt expect it till oct 6th. And the quality is too die!! Doesnāt smell chemically at all and it is thick. I canāt be happier! If you are debating this purchase, just do it! Trust me, you will NOT regret it!

This rug is a perfect deep black. Just beautiful. The rug has a funky smell but Lysol spray seems to damper it significantly. I am very pleased!

I was soooo looking forward to receiving this, i got it in and quickly opened it. the hide itself is in perfect condition, very good quality, the black is soft, solid & beautiful (just like the description photos). the problem is this isnt even close to 6x6-7ft. which obviously is a big fat bummer! i am 4ft 10 and when i lay on it im taller/longer both in width and length (which is why i gave 4 star rating, cause i wouldnt have paid what i did for basically a 4.7x 4.7 ft rug ) . i had gotten a slightly larger tri color brown one a few years back from this same company and put this black one on top of my brown one (see pics) to see the difference..i admit i was surprised to see that width wise they are actually really close, length wise my brown one is about 25 inches (from the center) longer (i tape measured that one). i completely understand that a typical "rug size" is really just a "ball park" measurement because..well its a hide, so i get that it wont be exact...im just bummed lol i really wanted solid black to match my living room. unfortunately i ended up having to take my tri color one from my bedroom & swapping rooms with it. i got this specifically to protect the rug under it from staining from dirty shoes or feet where we sit (which is why the lack of length is important for me ). im not returning it because the black one works just fine in my bedroom, my brown one doesnt really "go" with our rug lol but its not horrible so it will work.

This cowhide is luxurious! Very shiny in a good way. Looks really expensive. It might be too large for my living room. It just depends on how much of the floor you want to cover.
