I'm very picky when it comes to lighting. Everything I LOVED was $1000 for a dining chandelier, and I just couldn't do that. I liked this one fine enough and it was a GREAT price. There is a bit of conflicting info as the actual light shaft plastic where you screw in the bulb says it takes up to 75W bulbs, then the "candle" black tube part says it holds up to 60W bulb. To be safe I added 60W. I love that this is dimmable as that's surprisingly hard to find. I think the biggest thingt to note is that it requires YOU to assemble it, including some light electrical work. It comes in a surprisingly small box and you attach each piece, wire the appropriate connctors, and hang. Thankfully my husband does electrical work and knew what the confusting instructions ment, because I would of had NO idea what the instrutions meant. If it requires the average person to assmeble, I think they should have written the instructions in a normal human way. "twist all the black wires together" is all it needed to say. Instead it said it in electrical jargan that is nonsense for the average person. It looks beautiful when assembled and really does look like a high quality piece. Update! Contacted customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement! Giving 5 stars because it works great, looks great and customer service was excellent! Comes in a bazillion pieces so if you like a puzzle, you might enjoy putting this together. I actually didn’t mind it but was a little surprised when I got the box a probably wouldn’t have ordered it if I had known. BUT after all that work and paying a pro to install it….one light will NOT turn on. The wiring is faulty in that arm! Ugh!!!! I’m going to contact the seller and see what they will do to replace that one piece and I will update my review accordingly. By the way, with 40 watt bulbs it is overly bright in my space. I recommend a dimmer. ... show more
