I had ordered a different light fixture to replace my wagon-wheel style dining room light, as it just didn't go with the overall look of my house. When it arrived, I thought it was too "matchy" with the lantern-style pendants that I've already installed over my island, so I looked for something else to complement those lights without matching them exactly. This fixture is large and has the same upwards shape, complementing the large lanterns very well, but giving the dining room a modern edge, which is exactly what it needed. I was able to to assemble the light in about 20 minutes, as all of the wiring is pre-done and you are simply screwing the pieces together. It was really just a matter of taking down the old fixture and installin the new one, which took me no time. I can't even express how much I love this light and how much it has changed the overall look of my dining room. Great craftsmanship makes it so easy to handle, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this over and over. I'm thinking of ordering another one in the 6 light to hang over my bathtub. ... show more

This is a great value light for any area, it’s a solid black and the cord is a perfect length for needing to hook it further out if your light isn’t centered like ours wasn’t after renovations. Also easy to cut and install electrical wise. The arms are not stationary and can be moved, this is my only reason for 4 stars. When one gets ticked over it will unbalance the light and it looks funky until you fix it. This could be user error but we couldn’t figure how to make the arms any tighter. I still absolutely love the size and style of this light for our kitchen renovation! ... show more
