Kids have short attention spans and are not really interested in oral hygiene as we know. Manual flossing was becoming a nightly nightmare and I was giving up. A cavity between two molars appeared overnight as we missed some flossing sessions and now food keeps getting stuck in a little cavity pocket. I immediately looked up Waterpik but didn’t know there were so many smaller, less loud, and battery operated options. This battery lasts a very long time and the different flow options is nice especially if you’re treating sensitive gums. My child lets me water floss her teeth every night because it takes a minute or less . Keeping the cavity from growing is the goal since they are baby molars and I don’t want any aggressive and or traumatizing dental procedure on a molar that’s falling off anyway. I use a kid toothpaste with hydroxyapatite and at night I leave some on the affected area . It’s fluoride free toothpaste so I don’t have to worry about ingestion. The reservoir is a nice size and shape because it gives it a better grasp. Easy to clean and again the battery lasts forever, it has been over 3 weeks since I last charged it and it still going. The color is very pretty as well. This water flossed is not loud and you don’t have to worry about any electrical cords. Great price and great value!

This unit worked great for a year until it fell over on the counter and will only work for 2 seconds before turning itself off. It was a comically low impact but it seems broken forever now.

My dental hygienist suggested I purchase a water flosser. I chose this particular model because... PURPLE. It's cute but it doesn't spray very hard. That's probably better for my gums but I preferred my WaterPik which had stronger jet picks. It does it's job but I'll probably look for what I had before.

I LOVE** using this water flosser because it gets the stuff out of your teeth that your toothbrush or traditional floss may have missed!! It makes my teeth and mouth feel even cleaner after using it and it’s even better that it comes with multiple attachments so you can replace them after so long!! The different levels of water pressure are amazing and work so well! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone wanting to step up their clean mouth game lol. For sure going to be getting some for my family and friends and gifts!

I use a waterpik and have for years. This device has all of the great features, but it is much easier to use and it takes up all most no space. I seems to be as effective as the waterpik it replaced. There was for me, a slight learning curve. It was pretty easy for me to grab it and hit the power button. I washed down my bathroom mirror more than once. Hit myself in the face, too. Anyway, once you do that a few times, you pay attention to how you pick it up. It is easy to travel with. The battery lasts quit a long time, it seems like I get right around a month before I have to recharge it. I think it is a great value for money.

PROS: • arrived in tamper-proof packaging • easy to fill • relatively easy to dean and dry • comfortable to hold during use • designed with an attached (as in, un-losable) cover on the recharging port for protection from water infiltration CONS: • Significantly weaker water pressure than any other water flosser I've ever experienced — even on the top setting, and even when brand new... and in the three months I've owned it, the situation has only gotten worse (even right after recharging). This is a big 'con'! ==== ***UPDATES***: - I have now contacted Bitvae... since I was only about 3 months into my one-year warranty. I don't understand the complaints about the company. While I had no luck reaching them by phone (mailbox full, or something like that), I found them very helpful + responsive via email. They immediately agreed to issue me a full refund (which they promptly accomplished, without even requiring a return of the device). Without pressuring me in any way, they suggested I might want to try the upgraded version of this (C2) oral irrigator—namely, their newer C5 model, which has more pressure settings and is currently available on Amazon for the same price. I just ordered it and will see how it goes. (Will report back.) - Also, I have since re-read some of the other user reviews of the C2 model. Maybe I just got a dud... I say this because quite a few people say they found it **too powerful** (some even had that complaint about the lowest settings)... and clearly this was the opposite of my experience. So, maybe my issues were specific to this one brush... rather than the model in general. (I don't know.) NEXT UPDATE: So far, I am liking the C5 model a lot more than my C2. It's more powerful and has more pressure levels. LATEST UPDATE: While I definitely prefer the C5 to the C2 oral irrigator, even with the latest model (C5), the power has diminished markedly in just six weeks of ownership + use. Initially, it worked great... and I carefully clean + wipe-dry it after every use and recharge according to the instructions... but it no longer charges to the original power levels... and it seems to be weakening by the day (even when freshly recharged), alas!
