  • Incredible Performance Out of the Box–Perfect for Home Mining Enthusiasts
Color: White
I’m genuinely impressed with the Bitaxe Gamma 601. Right out of the box—with zero modifications—I was able to achieve around 1.5 TH/s at just 24W (5V, 695 MHz, 1195 core voltage), which exceeded my expectations. For a compact, home-friendly miner, that kind of performance and efficiency is outstanding. Setup was incredibly easy. The plug-and-play design paired with the AxeOS interface made connecting to WiFi and getting started quick and painless. Within minutes, I had it up and running and monitoring stats on the OLED display. It’s very beginner-friendly but still offers plenty of flexibility for more advanced users who want to tweak settings. What really stands out is the balance between power and efficiency. The BM1370 ASIC chip delivers solid, consistent hashrates while keeping energy usage low, making it practical for home use without worrying about electricity costs. Plus, it runs surprisingly quiet—I can keep it in my workspace without any distraction. I also love that it’s open source. Being able to customize, experiment, and learn more about mining through AxeOS and the community adds a lot of value beyond just the hardware itself. Everything you need comes in the box, and it truly feels like a complete, polished product. Whether you're just getting into Bitcoin mining or want a reliable, efficient unit for home use, this is an excellent choice. HAPPY MINING!!!!! GO GET THAT BLOCK!!!!!!! ... show more

  • Excellent 601 that came in a nice retail box with full sized manual. Excellent 601 that came in a nice retail box with full sized manual.
Color: Black
I currently own 10 Bitaxe Gamma miners from various vendors. 9 of those were not happy running at a boosted clock and voltage without modifying the heat sink and fans as well as replacing the thermal paste. This one I am writing this review about was quite the special Gamma 601. Right out of the box, I let it run at default settings to see how things looked with regards to temps of the asic and voltage regulator. After a few hours I adjusted the clock speed to 700mhz and the voltage to 1200mv. The fan speed increased to about 40 percent but was still very quiet. The temps stayed around 60c for the asic and around 59c for the VR. The only physical mods I did with this miner were the typical heat sinks on the power resistors and areas on the front of the board to help with heat dissipation. I did not need to replace the stock fan or asic heat sink which was a first for me. This exact 601 kit is like winning the silicon lottery. Medium boosting with very little modding required. Again the only mods I did were to add a few self sticking heat sinks. In other words, this is the best 601 right out of the box that I have ever purchased. ... show more

  • Sub par
Color: Black
Runs hot and unstable. I had to over volt and reduce frequency ,90% fan to get stable. The sweet spot is running at 1.08Th. Not as good as the Bitaxe branded 601. The problem could be the coated heatsink or thier board. I plans to replace or remove the coat at the least.

  • Tiny Miner, Big Hashrate — Perfect for a Fun, Profitable Hobby Tiny Miner, Big Hashrate — Perfect for a Fun, Profitable Hobby
Color: Black
My BitAxe surprised me with how much performance you can squeeze out of something this small. With a little tuning, mine holds around 1.3 TH/s at about 20 watts, and temps stay steady in the 55–59°C range. It runs quiet, stays stable, and the web UI makes overclocking and pool switching simple. This is a hobby miner that can actually earn a bit of money, and part of the fun is upgrading fans, coolers, and airflow — it’s all par for the course. If you want a low‑power, hands‑on Bitcoin mining hobby that actually hashes, this little board delivers. ... show more

  • Included psu did not work. Frequency & voltage increased to max just to barely hit advertised speed.
Color: White
EDIT: It stopped working running at stock settings As mentioned below, the performance of this was terrible out of the box when I tried to run it past it's stock configuration (but not in the "overclock" mode, just in the drop downs past it's default. Now, after running it at stock settings, it's performance halved, only hitting 550 Gh/s when it says expected 1.071Th/s. Included PSU didn't work, now this? Trying to mine is supposed to be the lottery, not if the machine will work. The included power supply with this did not work. Luckily I had a 75W power supply on hand. This unit barely hits the advertised 1.2TH/s after cranking up both the frequency and the voltage. Between that and needing to use my own power supply I am very disappointed. Especially considering it should be able to go a bit further since my power supply is providing more power. ... show more

  • Nice for some casual bitcoin mining
Color: Black
Things I Like: This Bitcoin miner was pretty easy to set up and use right out of the box. I only half-heartedly read the instructions and found out that was a poor decision and I had to start over from the beginning. Compared to larger miner devices, this one runs pretty quietly. It delivers up to about 1.0 – 1.2 TH/s on average and doesn’t consuming very much power. The Wi Fi connection and AxeOS web interface make it simple to get it connected and monitor what it’s doing right from a browser without having to fiddle with apps. Things I Don’t Like: Honestly, the biggest thing to know is that this device isn’t a money maker in the typical sense. Even with it running full time, the odds of it actually mining a Bitcoin block by yourself are extremely infinitesimally low. It is more like entering a lottery than running a profitable rig. The built in screen is also incredibly small and difficult to read. Should You Buy It? This miner is a fun gadget if you’re interested in Bitcoin mining as a hobby or learning experience. It you are trying to get into serious Bitcoin mining, then this is not the item for you. If you just want to have a little fun and mine just a little coin, this would be a good choice. ... show more
