**Update** 11/22/22 - Communicated with Bissell and they agreed to replace the sweeper. I thought that this was great customer service to replace a sweeper that wasn't a year old and had already broken. I received the "replacement" sweeper today...they sent me a $20 model?! They didn't send me a replacement of the same model? None too pleased with this. So, I contacted them to find out why I did not receive an exact model replacement and am waiting to hear back. In the meantime, given that I have just now received a $20 sweeper, I am seeking out a volunteer who would be willing to spot weld the $60 sweeper so that we can use it again. So frustrating. Original Review - 11/16/22 This sweeper worked fairly well with our school use. It was used throughout the week to clean up after our lunch periods during school operating hours. It broke today at the weld that connects the handle to the head and is unable to fixed other than welding it. It was purchased 11/18/21 and broke 11/16/22...just under a year later. Now, it doesn't get used for 3 months out of the year because of summer break. So, it really was only used for 9 months and is already broken. When it wasn't broken, it worked fairly well each day.     • BigGreen Gets it Done!
This product fixed the problem that sidelined the other sweeper I had; which was how the handle was attached to the bar on top. It was done with a spot weld and I am surprised that it lasted as long as it did. Bissell provides a sturdy bar and tab that screws on to the handle. This makes for easy use and steering. The sweeper has good wheels and brushes that operate smoothly and clean well. Oddly, there were no cleaning tools included, which would have been nice. But overall, the asking price of $45.00 is good value for this item. ... show more

    • Not that durable; broken after six months.
I purchased this sweeper to use to clean the common areas of an apartment building. In the first month, the handle started coming apart. Some duct tape fixed that. But after four months, one of the rollers fell out and wouldn’t go back into the sweeper. After six months, the second roller was out and wouldn’t go back into the sweeper.     • Excellent engineering EXCEPT...
This is the second sweeper of this type I've owned both of which from the same manufacturer and I love them as I have a bad back and with their effectiveness, ease of operation and lightweight it's a big hoorah! EXCEPT why such a terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE multiple piece screw together handle that falls apart constantly from day one? The threaded sections are crappy, shoddy at best, so why would the manufacturer shoot themselves in the foot on this note? Just to save .82 cents on shipping and handling or packaging or whatever? As with the one I wore out and retired a while back I had to have an entire handle/wand/stick whatever designed to replace the shitty one at considerable cost and frustration... And why? Cuz the sweeper kicks ass! Yet seriously the guy who designed the handle assembly shouldn't just be fired, he should be forced to use it without a fix or modification for the rest of his life by a relentlessly nagging wife! ... show more

I use this for quick cleanups. It doesn’t take as much effort to maneuver around as a big plug in floor vacuum. Very light. Only drag out the big vacuum once a week now. Happy with my purchase.

For a Bissell it does not perform as well as expected. It's also labeled "commercial" which I thought would be great but very disappointed.
