I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this carpet shampoo. I mean, how good could a bottle of cleaning solution really be? But let me tell you this stuff is seriously powerful. My carpets had seen better days. They were dull, stained, and starting to smell a little funky (thanks, kids and pets!). I'd tried other carpet cleaners before, but nothing really worked. I was about to give up and call in the professionals when I decided to give this Bissell shampoo a try. Wow, am I glad I did! From the first pass with my carpet cleaner, I could see a difference. The dirt and grime started to disappear, and the colors in my carpets became brighter. By the time I was done, my carpets looked like they were brand new. They were soft, fluffy, and smelled amazing. Seriously, it was like a miracle! Here's what I loved about this shampoo: Powerful cleaning: This stuff tackles even the toughest stains. I had a red wine stain that I thought was there to stay, but this solution took it right out! Professional-grade results: My carpets look and smell like they were just professionally cleaned. I have been using the Bissell Clean & Fresh formula for the past year or so and it works great! I decided to give this formula a try as it looks like it might work a little better and I will say I believe it does! It isn’t a huge difference but I do think it cleans the carpet/rug a little better faster. My biggest plus is the smell! I loved the clean and fresh at first but over time the strong floral smell was just too much. This has a VERY VERY mild clean laundry smell… I can just barely smell it. I will definitely continue to use this formula.

My housekeeper had to recently clean about a 40-foot “run” of doggy diarrhea, when the neighbor daughter’s kid’s mutt got away from her! Ok we were all outraged, humiliated, etc., but now what?! SOMEONE has to clean this. Long story short, the “store brand” detergent did NOT do it, so I did what I usually do: I got on Amazon. This stuff costs a LOT, but I can imagine what a pro-carpet company would have wanted to do it using their shampooers. Anyway, after she ran about one cup of the stuff through, my carpets look brand new, and no detectable odor whatsoever! $20 for a bottle but it was WORTH IT! Happy customer 😃
