I was a bit taken by surprise that the design of the watch face doesn't *actually* have roman numerals for the hour markers. On hindsight, this is clearly shown in all the photos, but my brain didn't really process that information correctly. Regardless, I love this watch. It's very comfortable, and the watch face is striking in its design without looking too bold (I purchased the watch in black). I have small hands and small wrists and this watch looks nice on my forearm. A great deal -- go for it! EDIT: After a few months it seems like the watch doesn't keep time well. Since I wear my watch below my wrist bone I have had some difficulty finding the right tightness/looseness to the band. Multiple complements when I wear, which is most days.
