This was a great QoL upgrade for my X1C! Installation was straightforward, but be gentle when removing the stock light’s connector — it’s sealed with silicone, and the socket can be yanked off the PCB if you pry too hard. The kit includes a splitter board so you can run both the built‑in LED strip and the Panda Lux. Some users caution that running both may draw too much current, so I chose to power only the Panda Lux. That said, a friend I recommended this to is running both lights without any issues, so YMMV. Even on its own, the Panda Lux is a huge improvement, as you can see in the photo. ... show more

Great lighting and very easy install. You do need to remove the top glass, so the AMS does have to come off if it is sitting on top. Definitely priced right. If you are considering buy it to upgrade factory lighting, just buy it and you want regret it. It goes inline with the factory light so that light still gets used as well. Well worth it, 10 minute install. I attached a picture of how I hooked up the circuit board since there are no instructions with it. ... show more

Much brighter than the stock light in the P1S and a cooler white color. Install only takes a couple minutes and greatly improves visibility into the printer. The downside is that if you remotely monitor or timelapse your prints the light is partly visible by the camera and blows out the exposure. The tradeoff is 50/50. ... show more

Great upgrade for my X1C. Benefits primarily the front side view. PRO: Very easy install PRO: Improves front lighting (vs the side factory) and a lot brighter PRO: Magnetic mount NOTE: I still have interest in a 4 sided lighting upgrade - esp as the camera view doesn't benefit from this. But that isn't a defect of this. But going further will require a printed LID/AMS mount which I will probably not get around to. OVERALL: Love it.
