The only issue I found was the double-sided tape on the back of the lights isn't sticky enough. So I added double sided tape to help stick to the underneath bar. This led strip fit on my a1 with no problems and is super bright been on 24/7 with no issues. Also very cheap compared to some of the other printer light setups. And it was super easy to install just wipe down with iso alcohol and stick it on. Only complaint is the sticky around the light sensor kinda sucks but nothing a little glue or double sided tape can't fix.

First of all the LED strip that had the adhesion on would not stick to anything but it's self and not very good at that. I finally had to take Goop to get it to stick and wrap with black electrcal tape untill it cured. The apparatus used to turn the light on is a not so funny joke it fasten to the plastic lens cover which don't fit very well and will fall off. But with all the problems nice light illuminates the bed well and look goods.

The light works well, but I have a few complaints. The claims about the adhesive not sticking are due to the factory oil/coating. As others have pointed out thoroughly wiping down/scrubbing the underside of the linear rail (x-axis) with 91% isopropyl takes care of this issue at which time you need to be careful with your placement because the adhesive is not coming off without a fight. The board for the light is housed in a small 3D printed part that is intended to be stuck on the filament purge arm. Unfortunately this interferes with floating waste baskets. That is mildly annoying, but nothing that can not be solved with a different 3D print to route the wires to the motor side of the linear rail ... except they glued the board into the printed part and the solder points for the wires are quite poor. Removing the board without damaging it is nontrivial, and you are absolutely going to have to re-solder the leads to the board. If Biqu is listening ... Pot the board so that the leads are not an issue. I suggest potting them in a cuboid shape so that the potted board can be snapped into your attachment with no glue making it more accessible for people to modify if they so choose. If you can accomplish this and keep your cost + margins under $20 this would be a great product for a good price. I think their review issue would have been solved if they had just included instructions on how to install the thing. It comes with zero instructions. You have to figure out how they intended for it to be installed entirely on your own making something that should take only a few minutes into a full blown adventure. I debated between 3 & 4 stars, but ultimately this thing is cheap and it does what it advertises... and no one else makes a similar product.

This cheap little gizmo is fantastic. It is super simple to install. You stick it on with the tape and put the end cap over the existing light. Use the enclosed zip ties to secure the wires and you are done. This is totally compatible with the A1. The light plus into the back of the unit so no additional power is needed. It is super bright. You will be able to see your build plate and so will the camera. Well worth the money.

The light bar looks decent at first, but the quality doesn’t hold up. The adhesive is weak and doesn’t stick properly, so it keeps falling off no matter how clean or smooth the surface is. On top of that, one of the LEDs was already out, which makes the lighting uneven and defeats the purpose. I also reached out to the company’s support about these issues and never received a response. Overall, it feels cheaply made and unreliable. I expected better performance, durability, and basic customer support for something this simple.

The lights on this upgrade is so bright that it lights up the entire room. I am able to see dust at a atomic level with this on. If you try to see the printer's camera with this on, it's like a flash bang from counter strike x100. Definitely recommend. The adhesive is pretty bad, but nothing a few seconds and double sided tape can't fix.

Eh, it's an ok light for my A1 printer. A few unexpected results after installing it are that there is VERY little space between the bottom of each LED and the print head. So if the adhesive backing isn't sticking strong it will definitely interfere with the print head. Next, the light is very bright, which is a downside for me. With the stock camera it will blow out your image. I use a Tapo webcam to monitor my prints and thankfully it can just barely handle the brightness. I looked into printing a diffuser for the LED strip but as mentioned in the beginning, I doubt any diffuser will fit over the light without hitting the print head. Lastly, the adhesive for the light sensor that goes over the stock light is very lacking. I don't know if it's just not sticky or there isn't enough of the adhesive strips placed inside it. Thankfully, there is a print model that you can place on your A1 that will hold it in place - so it is obviously a very common issue with this light.
