Several weeks ago, one of my dogs had to have surgery for a torn ligament. That meant he could not go up and down stairs, so I had to sleep downstairs. I purchased a foldup bed w/mattress. However, that mattress was too hard for my back, and I had to sleep on a recliner. I saw this topper on Amazon, and thought I would give it a try. This 4 inch foam mattress is it! When I first got on it I realize there was no belts but when I started sinking into it I realized how comfortable it was as it molded to my body. I don’t know how these things are supposed to last but I’m going to make it for all the time I can.

When I first set up my mattress topper on my hospital bed mattress it felt so comfortable, like I was laying on a cloud. Unfortunately that didn't help my first night's sleep. I gad expected to fall asleep and wake up so refreshed. That did not happen. It seemed like my bed was trying to suck all the warmth out of my body. Sometime in the middle of the night/early morning I got up, turned off my ceiling fan, and added another blanket to my bed and slept a little better. It was very warm in my room when I went to bed and I never would have thought I'd need an extra blanket. The second night was better because I used my extra blanket and by the third night I really slept so well. It was the night's sleep I thought I would have from the beginning. The best part of it is that I woke up feeling very refreshed. So my recommendation is give it a day or two to give the sleep you hoped you would have.

My wife and I got this thinking that the 4’in pad was a good buy over 3’ or 2’inch pads. We were sorely mistaken. Pun intended. This 4’in pad basically is a sweaty hole of pain and discomfort where we found ourselves having to wake fully up throughout the night to climb out of the abysmal death hole this thing creates. You sink into it like quick sand and then you’re cemented in, only to wake up feeling like you just died and somehow was resurrected to some sort of demonic horror experience where you were being suffocated in your sleep. I think my quality of sleep has been so bad that I now have eye twitches and back/chest pain. We took it off after 5 months and would rather sleep on the floor or couch than tolerate another night of this hell. Thanks for the waste of money. Bye.

I ordered this product because i needed just a bit more support and i was pleased at the quality of the product just as it looks it is.. however when i placed on top of my mattress it gave great height but i was way to plush i sank in it i was hoping it was bit more firm than it was, i am a bit heavy and have a big bottom so i kept waking up in a hole like indentation in the bed and kept trying to move and help make it more comfortable and eventually after a few weeks maybe two i took it off and put it in my storage closet it was a really good product just to soft for my needs. i think someone lighter with less back issues and certain needs like mine would love this product.
