It really does protect and help lock in the style, I didnt need hairspray after to hold.... but this iniself does have a hairspray feel and is hard to work through when styling

I really wanted to like this product based on many reviews but it wasn't a fit for me. I am starting to grow my hair longer (past shoulder length) and use heat styling most days. I tried spraying this in my (fine) hair for the first use (probably 4 sprays) and then brushed it through. My hair felt dry and crunchy after styling. I will admit it held curls well! Since then I have tried just spraying it in my hands (2 x) and running my fingers through my hair. Despite this it still has the same effect. I can even see residue in my hair sometimes. It basically feels like high hold hairspray to me. It does smell nice, but the smell doesn't really linger. ... show more
