I don't buy into any miracle cures, but in desperation, I tried Biofreeze on my knee and back and it's crazy how effective this stuff is, when it comes to relieving pain! I've done a lot of research on it to try to figure out how this can possibly relieve pain from pulled muscles to arthritis. I discovered that Biofreeze is useful for treating not only sprains and sore muscles, but also arthritis and other types of joint pain. It comes in gel, spray or roll-on form, and is a type of cryotherapy (cold therapy). Its active ingredient is menthol (from the mint family of plants), which causes your brain to interpret the nerve signals being sent as a sensation of cold, triggering a reduction in inflammation. The cold therapy of Biofreeze works by causing ligand molecules to attach themselves to your nerve’s cold receptors, which effectively helps to numb the area, interfering with pain signals traveling to the brain. The menthol in Biofreeze also induces vasodilation, which increases blood flow to the injured area, allowing cellular waste products to be swept away more efficiently and for healing oxygen and nutrients to be delivered to the cells. Regardless of how it works, this stuff is liquid gold. I use it on any areas where I have pain and it works amazingly well. Just don't use it on broken skin or rashes. I would imagine that would cause you even more pain due to the menthol in it. It's so hard to get pain killers nowadays, this seriously needs to be in your medicine cabinet! I have chronic pain issues and have a very hard time finding something that works for me without irritating my sensitive skin. This works wonders, it is intense, cool, and distracting from any pain and soreness. Absolutely in love with this roll on and I will be buying again when I’m out!

I have Fibromyalgia, arthritis in all joints, and a lot of other medical problems that keep me in a lot of pain. I use this product every day and it relieves my pain significantly. I've tried a lot of different brands and this one works the best. I take it with me wherever I go.
