My husband has degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, severe back pain, sciatica, etc. He needs surgery but he has put it off for years. I ran across this and now I swear by it. No more strong pain medicines, no more days where he can't walk because it's so severe. I massaged in on his bag really good for 2 weeks straight before he went to work. After that first 2 weeks, I did need it again until a month. The only problem I had was making sure he didn't overdo because he was feeling pain-free after sooooooo many years. Now, I massage him down every 2 months just because I don't want any flare ups. My grandmother had knee surgery. When she can to visit, I rubbed her down with it. She fell in love. I bought this as a stop gap for pain relief since you aren't supposed to use lido patches too often. This stuff I remembered using MANY years ago when playing sports and having stuff/sore muscles and such. Its just as good now as it was then. Granted you will definitely stink for a bit since the smell is a bit strong but I would rather smell a bit medicine like than have muscle aches and pains. ... show more

    • It really works for me. My daughter got it for a few years ago, I have been using since then.
I like this product because it really helps me. I use this product for muscle soreness and Charlie horses ( muscle cramps in thigh and legs)

This Biofreeze works very well for pain in the joints. I use it for days when I feel the pain in my knees, mostly, but also on my shoulders and it works really well. I first found out about it from my physical therapy professional.

Working in a rehab clinic and most of my Senior patients with joint pain really like this and so do I. I never used to like menthol gels but this one is different and it really does help my back pain temporarily
