I have no experience with any other top of the line dryer - but I splurged on this one when it was on a great sale , in Mother’s Day … and I have no regrets. I watch as this dryer turns the hair smooth and shiny faster than I have ever dried anyone’s hair before. Curly hair routine went form 2 hours to 25 minutes! This is most definitely a case of "You get what you pay for". I have a lot of hair, and it is thick. (similar to Andie McDowell) I wanted to allow my natural curl to show and to stop using straightening tools as it was damaging my hair. To accomplish this, I would spend 2 hours with slew of techniques and a normal everyday hairdryer/diffuser. Fast forward a year, my hair is below my shoulder when dry, and I was exhausted from the 2 hours a day under a diffuser. I asked my stylist what she uses. She showed me her tools, and I bought this on the spot. 4 months later - I AM IN LOVE! 25 minutes! My hair looks healthy, and my arms no longer feel as if they will fall off when I am done!

Unfortunately, my dryer started having issues in the first month of use. Would slow down power and then it only had cold airflow. Eventually it stopped working although with in 3 months. Loved the weight and the power when it would work. Super disappointed in the overall performance of this dryer!!! I am sad, I was expecting better from this product. For the price it is super disappointing 😡

The media could not be loaded. Professional-grade blow dryer. Light enough to be able to hold all day long. You’ll think it’s cheap because it’s so light, but it’s quite the opposite. It’s a pro-grade blow dryer. Variety of speeds, warm and cold options out of the dryer. Very fast to dry hair. Has a cold shot button which is an instant hot-to-cold burst, which is instant and works extremely well as needed. Red light indicates ‘heat’ which has 3 different settings. The blue indicates ‘speed’ from low, medium, and high. The cord is tangle-resistant and of good quality. The dryer has a good grip that conforms to the hand shape well. It’s not painful to hold for long periods of time, so it’s designed well. It comes with ‘reverse cleaning’, an ability that cleans the dryer out by reversing the air, hard blowing out the dust, etc.hence cleaning it. Check out my video showing it working. It’s worth every penny if you hold your blow dryer a lot throughout the day. Reliable. The company stands by replacing their products under warranty without hassle. I’ve done an RMA with Bionics and they send a brand-new product standing by their products. I’d recommend this to anyone but mostly hair stylist looking for a powerful professional grade blower.

I recognize that this one is overpriced. I do love it and this was my second. Oddly, it’s more blue than the black I actually ordered. No problem. One feature that is excellent is the locking setting. You have choices for speed and temperature, right? No biggie there or departure from other brands. BUT. It also has a locki g feature so you don’t accidentally change the settings while using. Great feature!
