This is a magic wand!!! I have bought many hair curlers over the years from super cheap to super expensive. What led me to the Bio Ionic Iron was when my hair dresser curled my hair and the curls were soft, bouncy, and they stayed overnight! I am a heavy sleeper, toss and turn a lot and the curls were still beautiful the next day which is huge for me since I don’t wash everyday. (Dry shampoo gives the best volume!) So the first thing I did was hop on Amazon (where I found it priced better than Ulta) to find this pretty maroon color wand. I’ve received many compliments on my curls and how good they look since using it at work. I put frizz control and blow dry spray for extra shine onto my damp hair. For reference I have fine hair that does not style well and hair tools dry it out completely but not this wand! Plus it took only 15 minutes to curl my whole head.(pics for reference) The heat levels are great for not having burnt hair (or hair smelling burnt). It does not smoke at all. A lot of other curlers did that to my hair no matter what setting I’d use. Also with several different temperature settings if you want cool, warm, or hot. It glides right through my hair not pulling or tugging. The durability of this extended barrel is top notch. Such a win in my opinion, GET THE CURLER!! You won’t regret it if you’re searching for soft, beautiful, and bouncy curls! I highly recommend—so far so good!

I was looking for a long barrel curling iron for my medium to long hair and after doing some research, this one had really good reviews. It was definitely more expensive than I would normally spend on a curling iron, but the quality feels noticeably better than cheaper ones I’ve owned in the past. The clip glides smoothly through my hair without snagging, it heats up quickly, and I like having multiple temperature settings. It also has a comfortable weight that doesn’t make my arms tired while styling. Overall it feels well made and has been easy to keep clean. I am unaware if the auto shutoff works as expected because I unplug mine and store it away. If there is a downfall I have not discovered it yet!

I really like this curling iron. I have used many lower end ones, and this to me, is higher end but it so worth it! I have extremely thick hair and this barrel can curly my sectioned out hair so quickly and the curls stay a lot longer than normal. It was a splurge to me, but worth it. The only con is no automatic shutoff.

My daughter was so excited about this birthday gift and sadly, the curling iron hasn’t met any of her expectations. She states it’s difficult to use and her curls don’t hold. She’s ditched this one and started using an older much less expensive option.

I first tried this curling iron while on vacation with a girlfriend who had brought it along. I borrowed it once and immediately noticed how incredibly smooth the barrel was. My hair didn’t catch or snag at all, which has happened to me with other curling irons. The long barrel is the real game changer. My hair is shoulder length, and I was able to curl the entire section in one pass instead of wrapping in multiple sections. It made styling faster and gave me a really nice, even curl. Because the barrel is longer, you can take slightly wider sections of hair and wrap them once around the barrel. It speeds up styling a lot! It’s definitely a little pricey, but after trying it I decided to splurge and buy one for myself, and I’m so glad I did! Best for: shoulder-length to long hair where the extra barrel length really makes a difference
