I'm a beginner at hunting (northern NH) and knew binoculars would come in handy. Did not expect so soon. Literally days after I received these, I needed them. I couldn't tell what I was looking at at the treeline behind my house. Then remember I had the binoculars. It was a ruffed grouse! Ordered twice- first had a broken strap mount and the second was already opened missing the strap entirely. Noone is clearly checking these packages for any quality control. Shame because they work great.

I brought it because it was advertised as 12x50. It's as good as any other 12x40. But it's not 12x50.
