These are very compact and lightweight binoculars which makes them great to bring hiking. Its got pretty great clarity for the price. My only issue is I think I have eyes that are a little more close set than the average person because these were slightly too wide for me to be able to see through. But my husband said they work perfectly for him. So just something to keep in mind.
