I only weigh 95lb and am 5'4 so I ordered a XS Small. Fits perfectly, it is fitted but still allows enough room to were a thicker top. The hood is like many of said a to loose and large. It may not look like it my photo's but I had to keep pulling it up out of my eyes, that's why I wore the head, it seemed to help. Although it has the elastic tightening cords on both sides if you can find them, they are awkward to use and not helpful unless your going to wear a hat under. It would of been better to have pull strings in front in my opinion. The pockets are warm inside but a little to shallow also. I like the magnetic snaps on each pocket are nice also, hope they keep working. The fur trim was a very soft nice quality, got lucky compared to others I've read, but to much fur in my opinion. Can't speak to the zipper yet, it's plastic which is a wait and see thing, since I've only worn it once so far. I do like how the zipper comes all the way up to cover your neck. The buttons all the way down the side keeping you more secure zipped up or not is plus. The coat I got in black & is very good looking and the weight & length is perfect for me. Ladies I've tried to be totally honest and cover ever thing to help make your decision on this coat. It came in a very posh box inside if a amazon box, so please make sure you order it that way at checkout, Or else you coat box will not make it in one piece. Photo's Included I took just for this review, show how it can be casual or classy looking depending on what your wearing, which is also a nice thing about this coat.and it's functionality. I was looking for a name-brand coat, but ended up with a BINACL because it has all the features I was looking for. I am 5'2 and 125 lbs, and the small fits me perfectly. It has a zipper, but also has a snap storm flap that keeps cold wind from blowing through the zipper. The hood looks good on and off your head, and can be tightened around your face with elastic bungees if desired. The fur trim also zips off. The coat has a deep inside pocket that holds my phone, The side pockets have a magnetic snap that keeps the pocket closed, but easily opens when you want to slip your hands in. The wrists have a knit fabric cuff inside that keeps the cold out. With all these features, it is really warm too - even in short walks of below 0 degrees to get the mail! I can't believe how affordable it is too. If you need a warm all-purpose coat, this it, no need for a name brand! ... show more

Ordered for a last minute trip to NYC in December with my daughter. The forecast was for cold wet weather so we needed something that was a little longer to keep us warm and dry, but not so long or bulky that it would be hard to wear on a plane or pack in luggage. It arrived well packaged and I was so impressed with it that I ordered another one for my daughter. It arrived just in time for our trip. It was very nice looking as well as comfortable. Kept us warm and dry for the most part. It rained all day one day and by the evening our clothes underneath were a little wet on the shoulders. But the coat itself dried very fast and was totally dry overnight to wear the next day. My hood kept covering my eyes if i put it all the way on but then realized I could have made adjustments so it fit tighter. Great price. Great value. Good zipper and ample pockets. Functionally what we wanted but still looked nice. Fur around the hood was nice and hood could be removed. So glad we found these jackets before our trip! ... show more

Read lots of reviews for many black winter coats in this length. Was hesitant to make a coat purchase on here, but this coat is awesome! Keeps super warm, well crafted, love that it has buttons and a zipper and the sleeves have a great inside cuff that secure nicely over gloves on colder days. Take the hood off before washing, as it cannot go in the wash. That is clearly stated on the description. Washed the coat on cold and put in the dryer. You might have to do a second spin in the washer. Very stylish and love the pockets and fit. I did size up after ordering my normal size. The first size was super easy to return. ... show more
