  • Use online instructions!
Use the online video and instructions to assemble and start! The printed instructions, which I used, are incoherent and unhelpful. Not until I noticed the online instructions did I have success, The printed instructions do not work: STep 3: "While holding the throttle level together with the throttle interlock, release the throttle lever to hold it at the starting position." BUT if either throttle or "interlock' is released, both are released. This is a meaningless instruction in itself. There is no "starting position." Step 4: "Pull out the choke knob to the closed position." NOTE: engaging the choke disengages the throttle, thus making Step 3 even more meaningless. Also Step 4: "When restarting immediately after stopping the engine, leave choke knob in the open position." BUT how can if to "left" in the open position if in fact it was in the closed position. Should say, "Put the choke in an open position." Finally, no amount of pulling the starter rope will start the chainsaw -- perhaps because step 3 does not work by itself, and does not work in conjunction with step 4. ... show more

  • Not Usable
Chain won't stay on despite me and 2 other experienced chainsaw operators troubleshooting. Junk. Also smokes a lot. Can't cut one piece of wood without malfunctioning. Chain tightened is a joke with flimsy screw.

  • Hardly Bilt
Was very excited to get a cyber deal on a chainsaw, but I guess what you pay is what you get. Should have spent more money to get a stihl. As soon as I was able to crank it on, it heavily smoked. Then after turning it off then pulling the cord to crank it on again, it ripped. Peice of trash don't waste your time or money, bilt hard= hardly bilt ... show more
