The mower was a rear wheel drive rather than the expected front wheel drive for my husband for a Fathers Day gift. When he tried it out he literally had to nearly run to keep up with it and it also is very hard to keep under control when he turns a corner. I would like to return or exchange the mower for one my husband (87) can handle.

If you are 6 ft tall and in good health I guess it would be okay. However, if you're shorter and have any problems with your knees, ankles or hips it's not so great. It has one speed for the self-propelled which is extremely fast. With this mower I have to walk two to three times faster than the others I've had. The speed should be lowered or be able to be adjusted by the person using the mower. Also the way the knob is to pull to start the mower is in a very awkward place and the handle is too long. You can't return it so you're stuck with it if you purchase it. So if you are a small person I would not recommend purchasing it or if you are not in tip top health.

I found it confusing to assemble and the bar for the self propelled part still isn’t attached because we can’t seem to get it right. Otherwise it cuts great and starts on the first pool.
