  • Gets The Job Done
Size: 21 Inch, Self Propelled
In many respects this was a downgrade from my previous lawn mower but it does have some nice features. Shipping arrived on time and the item was packaged well. The instructions are not very well written so assembly can be a little difficult. Used the lawn mower with rear bagging for the first time today and it did a good job. Here are some of the pros and cons from my first experience. Pros : 201cc engine which is very powerful and easy to start The 8 position wheel height adjustment is very convenient and works well The discharge selector (rear/side) does a good job of directing the flow of the grass clippings Creates a fine mulch when bagging or mulching grass Cons : The 201cc engine is not Briggs & Stratton The angled handle is difficult to get used to and there is no adjustment to raise/lower the handle The angled handle makes using the start/self-propel levers awkward to use (takes time to get used to them) The grass catcher bag is small in comparison to other mowers that I have owned The self-propelled feature is single speed and slow (I'm 5'9" and 68 years old) There is a wash out port installed on the mower deck but no adapter to connect it to the garden hose. Checked for an adapter online and there is nothing available (even from the manufacturer) ... not sure why it's there Overall, this a good lawn mower for the money. The rear wheel drive takes a little getting used to but the lawn mower is strong, easy to use and does a good job cutting grass. Update concerning the deck wash kit. You can purchase the Deck Wash Quick Connect (available on Amazon) which will fit the wash out port on the lawn mower. Be prepared to get wet ... the water is directed straight down and sprays everywhere. My solution was to purchase the Deck Wash Cleaning Adapter (also available on Amazon), enlarged the hole for the wash out port to 5/8" and install. Works perfectly. ... show more

  • Top notch
Size: 21 Inch, Self Propelled
I own a lawn care business and have twenty years of experience with two stroke and four engines . With that being said . I purchased two of these mowers and they have been well tested . I've had Honda and Toro mowers and I believe that this brand is just as good if not better. The 201cc is very strong and over all excellent quality ... show more

  • Total junk
Size: 21 Inch, Self Propelled
Really lousy assembly instructions. A box clearly labeled "oil and parts" contained nothing but oil leading me to believe the parts were missing. They were however partially installed on the mower. Also the cables for the clutch and brake were installed on the wrong sides so figuring out their mistake took a lot of time to fix. Customer service was useless and never returned my call. The self-propelled feature has only 1 speed rather than variable speed control which nearly pulls you out of your shoes. Worst mower ever. Never again order a mower from Amazon. Total junk. ... show more

  • Great mower!
Size: 21 Inch, Self Propelled
This lawn mower works well. We have had a ton of rain this year so the grass is thick and full of water. It is so much more powerful than my battery powered lawn mower. I bag my grass and it does a decent job. It did get stuck a couple of times, but I just removed the clump of grass that got lodged in the blade. It picked up the majority of the clippings. It is pull start and it does take a little muscle, takes me a couple times to get it started. I really like the self propel function. It helps me because my yard is thick and I live on a hill. I appreciate that I don’t have to work so hard to get up the hill. I would say it’s average speed unless you are turning and then you have to run or let go of the propel handle 😂. I taught my 8 year old son how to use it. He did well until turning. Overall I recommend, my only complaint is that it arrived with a tear in the handle padding. It was pretty easy to put together after using the QR code and pausing on the YouTube video to see which way the levers on the handle went ( that was the only tricky part). I would give it 5 stars if it didn’t have the cut up padding. ... show more
