This is an inexpensive drill press that comes with a drill press vise which is a bonus. It is a bit of a hassle to change the speeds but that's typical in these types of drill presses. The belt has to be moved over 2 hidden cones on the top. I noticed when I was using it bad it would fries if I pressed a bit too hard which is probably because I wasn't using oil at the time. But I thought about the belt stretching when that happened in called the manufacturer. They finally gave me a replacement belt number which is K26 V BELT. ... show more

Bought this to bore out a plastic part for a gun. It has plenty of power for the job on the speed it was set on when I got it. Unfortunately it’s not packed great and some of the styrofoam broke during shipping and one of the arms got bent. I was able to use it but it made it hard to install.     • Better than what I had to use before
You do not get the sensation of it being quality for one. For what I need it for it is perfect. I needed to drill a whole lot of holes at a controlled speed perfectly strait up and down. And it gets it done. The up and down motion could use a bit a grease to smooth out the motion but still good. I didn't even have to level the table. The vibration is tolarable. I can tell it's in the pulleys and the belt. The chuck ain't the best but is usable. Could be replaced for a better quality one for a outcome. It's light weight is better for me cause my lifting disability. I had to get it in the house and set up on my bench alone, or I would have bought a larger and better unit.
