I've had many-a-tripod. This one is compact and sturdy. It is replacing an octopus style that just wouldn't stay where I wanted it. It also is great for all different heights. Now, it's not HUGE...but it can squonch down and also deal with those places I need greater height. I do a lot of online teaching and sometimes I need my phone to be a document camera, or a slightly overhead camera...this does it. It also is nice for a different angle on a talking-head shot. Great little tripod at a nice price point. OH, and the screw mount fits all my cameras (web, point and shoot/dslr), and the phone mount works great on my phone. With what I own, it doesn't work with my iPad...but nothing is perfect.

This is a great tripod to use at your desk. I recently bought a webcam for my desktop. This tripod was the first in the list for my search. I did look at others and came back to this one. Others didn't offer as many adjustments. The added clip allows me to use my cellphone, a nice feature to have included. I was able to easily use the top of the tripod to attach my webcam. The swivel top allows me to move point the camera at an angle, which helps when I am doing things at my desk that I want to record. There are 2 adjustments in the center to adjust the height. This allows me to raise the camera up, without making the base of the tripod wider. The rubber feet keep the tripod in place. I have a real wood desk with a slick finish, and things slide on my desk all the time. I don't have to worry about my camera falling over or moving. This tripod is not expensive, but the quality is amazing. If you are thinking about making a purchase, please do it. I have not found anything negative about this tripod.

Being notoriously cheap I was rather satisfied using a small cardboard box to support my wed cam and was extremely hesitant to spend $13 for this tripod but I must admit, it was a great decision. The quality of this tripod is very surprising not to mention it just looks great to the point where some might be confused the set-up belongs to a professional.

I purchased this tripod to mount a Q8 Zoom Video recorder on my desktop adjacent to my computer monitor when I am using the recorder for webcam purposes and zoom conferences. The tripod has sturdy construction and securely holds the weight of the recorder. It is the correct height for this purpose and is stable on its three legs, yet the spread of the base does not take up too much space on the desk and can be conveniently positioned. The vertical height can be adjusted to a degree and the ball head allows easy rotation and angle adjustment.

This is a nice, sturdy little tripod which mostly met expectations, but I only give it 3 stars because the supplied ball head doesn't drop all the way down to 90 degrees, so it can't be used to orient a camera in portrait mode.

I needed a better place to put my camera as my head was stuck in the lower right corner of my screen and it was head only no neck. It's bad enough to be on camera, but that made it worse. This gave me the option to put the camera in a more flattering spot. I probably could have used two more inches in height for perfection, but it's sufficient.
