It's exactly the kind of bike mount with a swivel that I was looking for. It holds up a regular mountain bike and keeps it off the garage floor taking up less space because it swivels! Heavy duty and cheaper than some other swivels but the same quality as the expensive ones.

    • Great hanger...
Originally ordered these for our beach cruisers to hang in the garage however after receiving and installing, we figured out that we could not use them for the beach cruisers. Both bikes have a fairing on the front tire so the "u" shape does not work for these bikes. Luckily we do have two mountain bikes and decided to hang them with these mounts in our shed and they work wonderfully. It is nice to have that "swivel" so we can push the bikes aside and they do not hang straight out taking up too much space from the wall. ... show more

    • Easy to install and use
Simple is best and this was easy. Just pick your bike up and put it in the top. It does the rest. You do have a bottom plate for your bottom tire to sit on so it doesn't damage your wall. Install was easy. Do the top first then mark for the bottom Tire position. Screw that in and you are done.

I am a bike addict. My childhood BMX days have made me an adult that has delusions about my physical condition. I have abot 15 bikes and had some hanging from the garage ceiling, others in the rafters of my shed and yet more in stands on the garage floor.     • Great Space Saver
Are you like me and have several bikes that you need to store so you can make a little more room? Well look no further, this is a very cool bike hanger. What I really like about the bike holder is that once you mount the bike onto the holder, it then swivels to make a bit more space so you can use the area around the bike. As many of us with bikes know, the best way to store them is vertically and then usually you have this weird lost area around the bikes, but this hanger prevents that by allowing you to move them. The hardest part of this set is trying to make sure you mount this to a stud on the wall since the stud will give you the proper hold for your bike. If you accidentally mount this on the drywall, you risk destroying your wall so make sure you mount this in the correct area.     • Make sure you have room to mount it before it can be swiveled against the wall
This swivel bike rack did not fit the 29 inch tire of the bike I purchasedc this for and that is on me for not fully reading the description. It clearly states for bikes up to 27inch and thats where I failed to read and would otherwise have avoided ordering this for a 29inch tire. That being said, I do recommend keeping in mind that this swivel bike rack seems like a great idea, and it is, for those of us who do not have the space to keep a bike. I was attracted to the whole idea of being able to turn this bike (swivel) it towards the wall rather than having it sticking straight out from the wall into the living room. However, I did not take into account that in order to have this ability one must first mount the bike onto the rack on the wall then swivel it out of the way. It seems so easy, and it is if you keep that in mind. I did not keep that in mind and the original place i had hoped to mount the rack (the hallway) did not allow for the first step as the hall was too narrow to properly get the bike mounted. ... show more
