As a beginner cyclist that wanted to challenge themselves to keep up a great habit, I thought all bikes were already okay without any modifications. Boy was I wrong! I was stooped low, like I was actually going through downhills all the time for 50 miles, little did I know that I needed a stem riser to make it more ergonomic for me. I have a mountain bike that is for smaller jumps and whatnot but I strictly only cycle through flat trails with my wife so I don't need to have an aggressive pose all the time. The stem riser is of good quality, install was easy enough without extra tools, I went for the maximum height which is perfect for me. It makes the cockpit much tighter but it does make it seem like a bigger bike now even with just 27.5 inch tires. I love this and will make sure everyone buys a riser even if it's a first bike of theirs to make cycling much more fun than a workout hellscape.

This is a great riser. It is perfect for raising your handlebars to provide a more upright riding position. Everything fit perfectly. It comes with plenty of spacers, which help set the handlebar height. The center screw, which keeps the handlebars and riser attached to the bike, is long enough to reach the anchor bolt in the frame. It is easy and quick to install. The install isn't a complicated process - just make sure all your bolts are tight and the tire is centered to your handlebars. It works great and allows me to ride with a more comfortable posture. It's a great addition to my bike and helps make riding more enjoyable, especially considering the price.

The quality is pretty standard for what it is. These are wonky and tend to wiggle a bit. I'm using it to help my wife's friend transition from a mountain bike to a road bike as a newer rider.

I picked up this stem extender for my bike to get the handlebars a bit taller. I've only had a chance to ride with it for about 5 or 6 miles so far, so it's still early days. What I can say for sure is that my posture feels much better already. Even on that short ride, I noticed a difference. I'm not hunched over as much, and it just feels more comfortable. The quality of the part itself looks great. I'll admit, the stem looks a bit longer now, which seems a little weird just because I'm not used to the look, but for me, I'll take comfort over style. I'm happy with it for these shorter trips. I'll have to wait and see how it feels on a really long bike ride and if it makes a huge difference there, but the initial impression is that it works great for improving comfort.

Works great on my road bike to help raise the stem to make things more comfortable. Comes with plenty of rings to make adjustments as needed. Easy to install, funcitonal.

I prefer a riding posture that is not greatly bent over. I have other stem risers on some of my many bicycles. This is the tallest riser I've ordered, and I regard its height as a good thing. This one is a bit more expensive than the others (ordered years ago), but it seems very well made. It might be taller than a particular rider needs, in which case it would add some pointless weight and could be a protruding hazard in the event of a crash, but it could easily be cut down to any length desired. I'm very pleased with it.
