This is virtually identical to lectric's folding lock and fits into the storage compartment without any issues. The lock comes with 4 keys and seems strong for what you would expect from a folding key. I had no difficulty adjusting it while locking to a fence.

Had a coiled cable type bike lock, it was handy to store on the bike and it's pretty solid, but it's just a major p.i.t.a. trying to get it wrapped around anything and then locked. You can spend a few minutes fighting with it and then people start walking away faster as they hear you swearing your head off at it because it simply doesn't want to be uncoiled. This works really well, it folds up easily into a compact unit to stash in its rack, but it opens right up easily and lets you wrap it around whatever you're locking to with little to no hassle. I can't speak for how indestructible it is - or isn't - but a bike lock doesn't need to be Ft. Knox just to leave your bike in a public place for an hour, no one's going to sit there trying to break it in broad daylight while there are easier things to steal.

I really want to love this set of bike locks, they are sturdy and very sold, easy to use, store and transport. The one thing I don't like is that the key mechanism feels very flimsy and cheap, its difficult to get the key into the key slot quite often, especially in tight spaces. The key and key slot are made of what feels like very light metals and kinda cheap. It does work, don't get me wrong, I'm using it, but I wish the key slot and key were made of better materials.

I gotta this for my fat tire ebike and installed it where the water bottle holder goes. The plastic case has a concave face where it attached to the bike, and that would be fine for a regular bike, but my ebike has a flat surface where the screws are for the bottle holder. It would have been ok if the bolts supplied were longer, but they were too short to use. I had to get longer bolts to make it fit. The lock looks great and opens and closes smoothly. Much cheaper than other options.

If you own a quality bike and want to feel comfortable your bike is secure, this is a bike lock I would recommend. I have a $2,000.00 e-bike which I ride all over and on errands. When I leave my bike I want to know it will be there when I get back. This lock folds to a convenient size, is very sturdy and uses a key system. I is easy to use on various secure posts.

Within the context of bike life in NYC, the BIGLUFU bike lock is the perfect lock. It mounts perfectly and easily on the bike stem. Bike theft is common in NYC, so I use the lock ony for quick dashes into a shop or having a bite to eat where I can see my bike outside. The lock folds up nicely and when opened has enough girth to fit around an average sized sign pole, through wheel spoke, and around core stem of the bike. I haven't really seen many of this design. The alternative for many are very heavy enormous bike chains and locks. I find these to be impractical,. The BIGLUFU is light, reliable and a deterrent enough for pit stops around the city.

Really hard to find much it will fit around, its pretty heavy for what it is yet flimsy at the same time, all in all good enough for my rare need for a lock but if I rode a bike every day it would not be my choice.
