Extremely lightweight. Very low cost compared to others. Volume control easy to use but I didn't notice much difference in the first 3 clicks, however the 4th click increased the volume significantly. Overall volume and sound are great. Battery lasted almost as long as suggested and probably would but I didn't want to wait until it ran out and be cut off mid performance. Compared to another I have used, there is no squelch control, only simple volvume up or down so I was concerned that I may not be able to adjust to avoid feedback near speakers, however it was no problem with this mic. I could walk in front of speakers with no effect, until I got about 12 inches from the speaker, then got feedback but WOW! Can't believe how good these mics are and the price is great. I also tried it in several different dance halls and in one large hall where the receiver was up on a high stage and not in direct view, I thought the transmission may be difficult but there was no drop out and it worked a treat. Similarly when I walked out of the room and the doors closed behind me, although I was not very far from the receiver, I was out of view and behind closed doors and it still worked perfectly. I know they will eventually require replacement when the battery will no longer charge, so it's a shame to know that the whole thing will become useless and non maintainable as I detest the throw away society we live in but with 2 or 3 charges per week I reckon mine will last 3 years or more. Being lightweight to wear and carry to gigs, easy to set up (simply plug in and go), quality sound and long battery life, I no longer use my £300 wireless mic, instead I use this cheap but brilliant little alternative. Can't speak highly enough of it. Beware of other models that I tried before I found this one, which look the same and are about the same price but the sound is not comparable and they are not as easy to use. I sent them back and got this one after a friend recommended it. I had to order it from the amazon.com (USA) and have it delivered to the UK but it was completely worth it!! I have since ordered one for my partner and will replace them when the batteries die. I hope they are still available then!!

UPDATE: The seller saw my negative review immediately. Before even contacting me, the company completely refunded my purchase. We then had numerous conversations on how to rectify my problem. In the end, we decided that I would reorder the exact same product, and they again gave me a full refund before I even received it!! This time, it was packaged differently, had the charging cable I did not receive the first time (which they credited me for and made suggestions on which on to order on Amazon.) They were very prompt, pleasant, and responsive throughout the process, responding to my numerous questions, and so forth. I just received the new mic yesterday, and gave it a quick try last night while the rest of the household was asleep. Today I will put it to the test, and I have good feelings about this one. i have 30 years of experience married to a man who had electronics that were designed in the US but built overseas. I do not know what the situation is with this company, but one thing I do know is that sometimes there is a bad apple, and I may have unfortunately gotten it. This company did everything possible to make it right. If i happen to have any further problems, they have invited me to get back directly to them immediately so they can assist. For these reasons, I have changed my rating to 5 stars and would not hesitate to order other products from them, knowing that they will not let a customer down. Thank you so much. It's too bad I missed the return window on this. After one month the bluetooth that goes into the amp has loosened, and the headset has lost its flexibility and I can't get it adjusted on my head anymore. It's unusable because the loose bluetooth piece makes the amp gurgle and click. Don't waste your money. I hope thee seller sees this and has the heart to correct this somehow. I'd put no stars if I could, but in the beginning the sound was decent enough for my home needs.

This is my third Bietrum microphone in over 6 years. It is the same make & model they use at work. I’ve been very pleased with it. There was something wrong with the charging cord on this recent purchase so I contacted the company through Amazon. They got back to me and asked for proof, which I took pictures & responded. After 5 emails, they agreed to send me a new mic. I received it in 3 days. This I appreciate because I use it every week. I rated this a 4 because although a good mic, it only last a couple of years (I think because the wires wear out from use. )

I needed something that went with my voice amplifier. I don't have room to lug around some huge speaker and receiver. When I have to do a breakout session after a keynote there is usually no voice support so I use my voice amplifier but it had to go around my neck. It gets heavy after a while and a giant box around one's neck is not something that makes an outfit. I wanted a wireless headset that worked with my amplifier while the speaker sat on a table. This is amazing and I love it. I know it's not beige but then beige would only go with my skin color and maybe not someone else's. It worked when I tested the headset 20 feet from the speaker. Although I don't use it that way my husband was curious. The headset is comfortable and easy to put together if you read the directions. I'm careful to dismantle it without wearing down the parts and I store it flat because I need to pack it often in an overnight bag. I just wanted a headset that worked with my amplifier and all together they don't take up much space and it works like a charm. I had a 6-hour training and then a one-hour breakout next day. It lasted that whole time. The AV folks also tried plugging it into the main system and it did work but there was background noise and it worked fine and better as a solo system. I had to re-pair (not repair but pair with Bluetooth again) which meant holding down the plus button until the receiver (smaller plug-in device) blinked and I was good to go. The sound quality was far better than expected and it works for a room of 16-50 people. I didn't have it up all the way and had at least 2-3 notches to go for full volume. I also liked that the charger is split. So I can charge both the receiver and the headset with one charger that goes into one usb slot. That is very handy. I wear it along the back of my head. Easy to take on and off, too. I'm a brain tumor survivor and radiation damaged my vagal nerve which means I have Vocal Cord Paresis. Translation: Of my two vocal cords one of them flapped like a loose sail until I had surgery but it's still not as strong as it was and I need voice support so I don't strain the one I do have. This helps a ton.

I’d give it a negative if I could. This is the 2nd time I bought this. Never again and when you try to get a replacement it’s a hassle. The receiver tip broke before I can even use it. 😡

Edited to add 10/02/2025: I was able use this for a decent amount of time, considering my durability concerns. But last night I noticed rust at the point where the wire entered the headset. Today in class it snapped off. I've reached out to Bietrun to see if I can purchase just that piece. It seems a shame to have to discard a working microphone and receiver because of a mechanical failure for the headset. I originally bought this for a an event where I was standing, teaching/talking, vs doing a lot of moving and jumping around. It was GREAT! It was easy to set up. Connection was crystal clear. It did exactly what I needed. And if I had written my review right after that, it would have been a 5 star review. I put the microphone away in case of future need, and moved on. Fast forward a couple of years, and the wired microphone where I teach fitness classes, primarily Zumba and Bodypump, started having serious issues, and management was taking a long time to troubleshoot. I remembered that I had this microphone tucked away, and brought it in for my personal use. For reference, I teach 2 - 4 classes/week, depending on the week. I did have to put a rubber band across the back so it fit my head more snugly, but then it was HEAVEN . . . for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, the place where wire around my head meets up with the plastic piece became very loose, and the microphone is bouncing around. It's still usable, but I'm expecting that, given how rapidly the issue manifested itself, that it will likely worsen. I'm going to try using electrical tape to try to stabilize it, but I'm not sure this has the durability needed for a fitness class where one is doing jumping jacks and other high impact choreography.

Easy to use and plug into the back of my PA speaker I have in my classroom. The signal is strong no matter where I walk in my class and saves my voice a ton of strain since I only have to sing or talk loud enough for the microphone to pick up my voice. I really like the convenience of it having a battery built in that can be recharged with a usb-c cable. Much better than what I was using before, this headset and receiver makes it especially useful if you have a lot of movement (I teach music). The signal was pretty powerful as I recently had a concert practice in our school gym with the PA speaker on the top steps of our stage. I was able to almost go to the other side of our gym before it cut out (we have a full basketball court). I would definitely recommend it to PE teachers to save your voice and still run around with the students. The microphone set is definitely as useful as what speaker you plug it into. So as long as you plug it into a decent PA sized speaker, you definitely get a decent sound with a solid signal for the reasonable price. If you plug it into something small and cheap, then there isn't much point.

I am a line dance instructor and I use this microphone for classes and outings. I read the reviews before I bought this mic and was a little hesitant about the purchase. Turns out, none of the criticisms I read actually mattered to me. The sound quality is good, I have no trouble with volume control (I use the volume control on my Block Rocker), the mic fits easily on my head and it connects seamlessly with the UHF receiver. Battery life is decent, lasting about 3 hours, which is about the limit that I need it to. For $30 it turned out to be an excellent value. If you're trying to use it in a sound studio, my question would be: Why?? This is not the one for you. Spend some real money and buy what you need. If I have a couple of nits to pick, they are: There is no mute button, which means you have to turn the mic off to mute it, and there is a short delay in connecting when you power it back on; and a longer battery life might be useful. For me, it was an excellent value.
