  • Happy so Far
Style: 1000 Series | Elongated | Remote
I purchased three for bathroom remodels. Works as expected. I'm happy with my purchase. Easy to install. Need an electrical outlet to use.

  • Almost 3 years and still going strong
Style: 1000 Series | Elongated | Remote
I bought the BidetMate 1000R (with the remote) back in 2020. It was fairly easy to install (even for people like me who are timid of plumbing) and has worked great. Saves a lot of money on toilet paper and personal wipes. This particular model has a lot of nice features like heated water, heated seat and air dry. And the settings for position/temperature/water force etc. are simple to adjust to your personal preference. When I recently moved to a new home, I took my BidetMate with me. But unfortunately the water supply line somehow got damaged in the move, and would not form a leak-free seal any more. I contacted the company to ask about a replacement. They covered it under their generous 3-year warranty, and sent me a new one. So I was "back in the saddle" in no time. Bidets are still not so common in the U.S., but once you've used one, you will see why they are so popular in other countries. But I think the U.S. is starting to catch on. TLDR - great product, great company support. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Only get this for elongated toilets
Style: 1000 Series | Round | Side Panel
The bottom line is that a classic "round" toilet just can't comfortably fit the bidet - or your parts upon it, at least if you're male. I'm keeping my device, as the bidet is helpful, and my gf doesn't experience the biggest detractors that I do. But the cons are serious enough that they at least equal the pros, and possibly worse. For me, the most serious problem is that the hole in the seat is both uncomfortably small, and also far forward. It pushes my bits up right against the porcelain bowl, which is unpleasant, and also frequently results in my "stream" passing between the seat and the bowl, and spraying the outside, to garnish my pants or the floor. If I'm fortunate enough to avoid that, the best I can hope for is warm fluids soaking my balls due to the way things are crammed up against the bowl. So, I've gotten into the habit at this point of standing up to pee, even if that comes in the middle of a bowel movement - I stand up, deal with that, then sit back down. This is obviously far from optimal. I don't blame BidetMate for this - I think this problem is likely unavoidable for _any_ automated bidet system meant to fit the smaller "round" size toilets - there simply isn't room for the bulky backend of the device to fit nicely. If you have a toilet with extra inches between the fixture bolts and the tank, then you may have a much better experience than me - but I reckon most toilets will be like mine. If you have an "elongated" type toilet, you probably won't experience the issues I'm dealing with. You may also find that a simpler, cheap and non-automated solution will fit well for your toilet (but then you'll give up things like instant-heated water, etc) Another issue is that the power cord is ugly, no matter what you do with it, and you may have to strew it across your bathroom, as I did. I fastened it neatly against the wall so that it wouldn't be quite as bad an eyesore, but it's still a noticeable detraction from the appearance of the room. But it _is_ nice to have access to a bidet. I do have to sort of "squirm around" on the seat to get it to hit all the angles and make sure it gets everything off, but it's definitely superior to toilet paper (you'll still need it to dry up - yes, even with the dryer function), while not quite as sufficient to the task as my detachable shower-head's sprayer (but I don't wish to shower every time I use the facilities). The seat is nice and sturdy. The lid is _clearly_ not meant to be sat upon, as it is just flimsy plastic. It is also angled so as to discourage setting things atop it. Use it as a lid, not as a "turn your toilet into a seat" device, or you're sure to break it. Just don't. ... show more

  • Overall it's pretty nice
Style: 700 Series | Elongated | With Dryer
This I my first bidet and it's been very nice. Hoping to save some money in the long run especially the way my fiance previously went through tp. Pros - install was easy. Not sure what issue people are having with the rubber pieces, they squeezed right into the holes. I had a small hiccup with the 3 way splitter that was too large to fit on my water line. However it fine at the end of the primary hose and connected directly to the bowl. Speaking of my biggest issue was screwing the hose to this seat. Even after finally getting it to catch it leaked overnight and had a very wet bathroom floor. Had to really wrench it. - once you figure out the controls, it's really not to bad. Heated seats, water, and air are all very nice and glad I went that route. Cons - there's no angle adjustment. Both bidet and bum modes hit about the same place which is frustrating for the fiance. - the pressure is a bit lackluster, but it's a small thing. - for adding a sit sensor, they didn't do as much as I had hoped. Yes, it prevent the nozzles from coming out and spraying when no one is sitting. However they could've tied the heated seats to this because currently they're on all the time. Seems a waste of electricity. ... show more

  • It's ok
Style: 1000 Series | Round | Side Panel
When we first installed it it was wonderful easy to install easy to use however over the first month the hardware that holds it in place loosened we went to tighten them back down to find the hardware was stripped so we were not able to tighten back down it also isn't consistent sometimes the nozzle dosnt extend sometimes it adds an extra surprise at the end when it's supposed to be doing its self clean or it won't retract 3 months into use the lid completely broke off the hinges I will say the heated water heated seat are nice I can do without the dryer though my hubby likes that part though lol lots of adjustments for pressure and position when they work the way you want I'm currently looking for a replacement but not likely to buy this same one again ... show more

This is a second bidet I have purchased and installed. The unit is very similar to the previous bidet and installed in the same manner. The unit is just as described and at least at initial install works as promised. The seller delivered the unit quickly and packaging was excellent. This bidet is in an auxiliary bathroom so will not get much use. ... show more
