What am I reviewing? I am reviewing Ottertbear Store’s Bidet Attachment. How was this presented to me? Within a non-sealed, semi-professional looking retail like brown cardboard package. I appreciate items that are sealed as I feel the integrity of the product is not called into question. Transparency APP? The package did “not” have a QR Code that I could scan that could give detailed information about this product; to allow “Transparency” surrounding the item, and to verify its authenticity and other product information. I appreciate when a product does have this option, as it typically even gives a picture of the product and confirms important product information, even Amazon promotions… Can this be given as a gift? Hmm, yes, it would be odd, other than for family, and the packaging is “not” sealed, nevertheless, this still have very neat, as-is, semi-professional, semi-retail like appearance. Size of package? About 14” x 6” x 3.25” Weight of the package? About (1) pound and (14) ounces, which is typical. Contents? Everything needed for installation. All with an excellent feel, fit & finish. Everything about this kit is first class. What did this do for me? Real or imagined, this works, it’s comfortable effective, and with little installation effort. Biggest question? Can children use this? Not in my household. Although the streams can be delicate, this is best used by adults. My biggest criticism? I would have preferred a T-adapter that had its own shut-off, some older homes do “not” have control valves from the source. It’s an extra precaution that I just prefer. The average bidet, however, does not have such adapters. Listing accuracy? I thought the listing accurate with what I received. Cheap plastic? No, this worked perfectly and under all weights, from petite to NFL linebacker. Country of origin Made in China. Value? Based on the totality, I feel I received solid value. The retail price is competitive with similar models. This however, had a smooth control knob and quiet, effective selection buttons. Is this perfect? Hmm, for the product itself, I really have no significant complaints. The wash worked as intended. I am just not a fan of T-Adapters that do not also have an option to shut-off. Installation? Installed on a Kohler one-piece; the fit was spot-on. In a low-pressure environment this performed admirably. The controls on the side are interesting, but not very bulky (and neither is the entire back unit) and work effectively in selection. The entire unit is mostly plastic, and for the most part held up well, with no cracks. The performance in using this is night and day different; this has a much sleeker look and fit (without compromising opening size) and the self-cleaning function is very good to excellent. I would not purchase a full-size version; I like these units that sandwich in. Toilet seat closure is not perfect but works well enough. Installation time? Once the toilet seat is disassembled, this latterly adapts on in seconds. The biggest time consumer is connecting the stainless-steel type reinforced hose. Rating? I think this deserves five (5) stars. Why? It’s reasonably priced. It’s effective. It gives significant self-confidence. It helps the elderly, the handicapped, and those that have difficulty in reach. It may cause more use of water, however, saves on paper. I also like these models that allow me to keep my present [slow-close] seat; the full models tend to be made of lesser materials and have smaller openings. This allows me to keep my present opening – fitting on standard oblong seats. I hope my thoughts added information.

I have tested this set out against the more expensive name brands and can tell you that this does a better job. The stream is stronger and much more effective. I save a lot of TP using this, where as the name brand didn't help very much in using less. I rarely need more than 1 piece of TP using this seat. Install is simple. Turn off water to the toilet, detach the water line and install the included T adapter. Attach the main waterline to the bottom of the T adapter and attach the included water line to the side of the T adapter and the other side to the bidet seat. Remove your toilet seat, place the bidet seat on the bowl with the plastic discs in place and reinstall your toilet set right on top of it. Turn the water back on and it is ready for use. There are 3 settings that you can use. Rear for when you go "number 2" (all genders). Front for when you go "number 1" (female) and then the clean nozzle should be used simply the fire water out into the bowl to keep the nozzle from clogging up over time. Note that you can have all settings used at the same time, but it seriously affect the stream pressure, which makes for a less effective cleaning job.

Over the past years, I have become a bidet-convert. I have installed them all over my house, as well as at some family members, and have gotten some experience in which ones work well and which ones leave some things to improve. What I love about this one, is that it is one piece. Another one I installed came as a clamshell design, which screws together with a rubber seal. Unfortunately, sometimes it leaks. This one, coming in one piece, does NOT LEAK. It also allows me to keep my existing toilet seat, which is better than the ones that are built-in to the toilet seat. It makes the toilet seat smaller and less comfortable. The design is good, and this is the first one that has buttons to select front/rear/clean. I was unsure when I saw it at first, but it works just as well as having 2 turn-knobs. Great bidet for the price!

This is the second bidet I got and it works better than the first, which can sometimes feel highly pressured. It was very easy to install and ready to go in minutes! The bidet will severely cut down on toilet paper use and pay for itself very fast. The value is great! The flows are great on both nozzles and the bidet feels well made and looks nicely manufactured. It should hold up for some time!

The bidet came in a small box. Has everything you need to install but I recommend having a pair of pliers to make the process smoother. It fits my toilet seat perfectly and has three button options: front, back and nozzle cleaning which I LOVE! You have turn dial nozzle to control the amount of water pressure that comes out as well. A very good quality deal!
