I have used this same unit with a 41mag mod 29 s&w for 18 years. Got another one for 44. EXCELLENT article in my opinion. Strong retention, good fit. The belt strap w/snap is a blessing, puts the weight of a heavy revolver on the hip, relieves the sholder weight which is handy if wearing all day hunting. A bit tough to break in since retention is strong. I use neatsfoot oil but I think a waxy product would also work. Well worth the time it takes. This is not a cheapo flimsy holster. This holster is not for a full sized .45 semi-automatic. My Glock 21 does not fit well in this holster and it takes 2 hands to draw and/or put back into the holster. Way too tight!!
