    • Easy to follow instructions
This is a great quality bed and there were easy to follow instructions. I recommend at least 2 people to put everything together as it is time consuming with one person. But a single person can build everything in 1 day.

    • IMPORTANT: 2 BOXES!!
Now, I have not yet put it together, so I will edit this afterwards. However, this is very important. THIS BED CAME IN 2 DIFFERENT BOXES ON 2 DIFFERENT DAYS!! I called Amazon, not realizing this and when I got the first box and couldn’t put the bed together. The representative and I both learned it comes in 2 boxes and they did come on 2 different day (one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday). The representative was very helpful and helped a lot and this. And while a bit weird, did not really impact this delivery considering both boxes came almost a week early. And this is not a criticism towards Amazon, except to maybe communicate that this frame is in 2 boxes before someone tries to put it together. I was fine with it coming in 2 boxes, just wish an email about it or notification about had been sent to me. I will edit after putting it together. Edit: it took 2 people about 5 hours to put together. You will need a second person (I had my brother help) if just to hold things up as you get off the ground. The instructions themselves were fairly straight forward but check where each hole goes in the picture so you don’t have to take something apart because it was put on upside down. I will say, the instructions say you just need a manual screwdriver. Save yourself the time and anger and use a drill. The actual screws portion (not the hexagon screws that use an allen wrench) have no pre drilled holes or only holes in one of the pieces and not the board your drilling it to, so it’s hard work and made easier by the use of a drill. I really took a gamble on this bunk bed. I wanted it so bad but it had no reviews so I decided to take the chance & im SO glad we did! Now it did take the whole day to build because my husband wasn’t looking at the directions thoroughly and had to take it apart several times and back together but in the end it’s SO worth it! My only semi complaint is they give you the exact amount of tools you need & no extra so if you lose a piece.. well don’t lose any.. and the bottom bunk doesn’t come with any slats so my mattress is on the floor but oh well. This gives my son's bedroom so much more floor space. The only think I dislike it that it squeaks when they move and it wakes them up.
