  • Sturdy, spacious, & easy assembly
Color: Smoky Grey
Got this for our three spoiled furbabies and they love it. It's easy to put together and has the only tool you need included in the box. Solid and sturdy construction. One of our cats is a total fatty and so far the cat tree is tolerating his obesity without an issue. Material is very soft and the top cat beds are padded. There are many different areas for the freeloaders to sit and sleep without getting in each other's way. Perfect for multiple cat homes. 5 stars. ... show more

  • Amazing Meowsion!
Color: Light Grey
The media could not be loaded. This has to be the BEST stand or anything I've bought for any of my cats, past and present. Their birthdays are a week apart, so I bought this for them as a present (don't laugh, you know we all do it!). They have one that is about 25 years old and belonged to two other cats I had before. (It's one of those with only one pole and 5 levels -- the top level being the one they fight over.) This new one has so many levels and so many places for them to explore, they don't fight over space. Well, occasionally Gabe, the black one, will try to annoy Hildie, the long-haired, so she gets out of spots he wants, but that's to be expected with two spoiled cats. One thing that worried and still kind of worries me are the bolts underneath the levels (photo with Gabe yawning). I'm going to wrap them in something as soon as possible. As you can see in that same photo, there is a strap at the back to bolt into a wall for added stability. Since this is in front of a window, I couldn't use it. However, the base is wide enough to give it the stability it needs when they play and jump up/down The three beds at the top are well cushioned. The smaller square house at the top has what feels like fleece blanket sides. It's really nice but Gabe went to work at ripping a hole at the bottom so he can reach his paw out to grab Hildie (and me!). He's destructive, though, so it was to be expected. I just wanted to make others aware that the sides of that house are not solid wood, they are blanket-like material. That isn't a bad thing, in my opinion, because my cats like pushing themselves against it like it's comfortable conforming to them. Assembly: It's a nightmare if you're doing it alone! I don't regret the assembly, though, because every part of it is screwed in tightly and fits well so that it's safe and secure. It's just a royal pain to put together if you don't have help. I read one review where the person said the screws of the posts won't go in. I had this issue on three of them, but I worked on the other side first. For some reason, when I went back to the side that was an issue, they worked. Still a PITA, though, to be honest. I would prefer it to be a struggle and safe than easy and fall apart. I would HIGHLY recommend this stand! The price is absolutely worth it! It's huge, it's beautiful, and it's very entertaining (for the cats and watching them). ... show more

  • Kitty Approved!
Color: Beige
I have two kittens and a one-year-old cat, and they all enjoy this cat tower. The kittens jump and leap off it all the time. They all like napping on the three perches and laying in the hammock. They also like to lay in the upper cubby more than the bottom cubby. The tower is sturdy doesn't need to be attached to the wall. It also wasn't difficult to put together. My friend did it and he was careful not to over tighten the screws. We had some extra hardware in the box and one tool listed in the instructions was missing, but it wasn't an issue because we didn't know what that tool was used for anyway. My three cats are always on the tower and it's working out great for them. They play with the hanging balls and nap on it quite often. The beige color is a nice neutral color. The only thing negative is that you can feel the top of the screws inside the cubbies and some other areas. I put a small blanket inside each cubby so the cats can't feel it. Other than that, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Assembly
Color: Smoky Grey
Background: I have two eight month old half ragdoll kittens that weigh about 12lbs each, with more growing to do. I received my Cat Tree Condo yesterday. I intended to wait until Christmas and assemble it as a surprise for my cats, because obviously my cats understand what a surprise is and totally care. When I got the box, though, the temptation to open it up and feel it was too strong. I couldn't resist pulling out a few of the pieces. My first impression was that the fabric was very plush and soft. As a human, it was very pleasant, but to be honest, I don't know if it's the right fabric choice for felines. I decided to assemble is right away. I couldn't wait. My cats were jumping all over it as I put it together. They especially loved the bottom box, and tipped it over a few times before I had the chance to secure it. I had been worried that my cats would take some time to warm up to the tree, but I was happily mistaken. YMMV. The instructions were simple, but that's because the assembly ended up being quite simple as well. My hands and wrists have been a bit sore from all the twisting and turning, but overall it was fairly easy. It seems mostly sturdy, except for the tallest perch. First impressions: Good design. The platforms are a good size. For reference, I have two ragdoll kittens that are already about 12lbs each. They are larger than the average domestic house cat, and they fit into both boxes comfortably. The platform seems to support them well, though they are wary of the three perches at the top. They've been exploring everything else and scratching and sniffing. All of the pieces were included, and everything fit together well. The fabric is disappointing. It comes off in little clumps, and I doubt it will hold up to any scratching. It's very pleasant to my touch, but it's not going to hold up to kitten razor claws. The sisal rope part if very abrasive. This did make it a little difficult during assembly, but I'm sure it will be great for the cats to scratch. I do wish there was a pole that was entirely wrapped in sisal instead of just portions of each pillar. My cats love to stretch and scratch the length of a sisal-wrapped pole, so that's a little setback. So far, it seems sturdy and well made. My cats are fans, so I'm a fan. I'll update this review to let you know how it holds up over time. At this point, I give it four stars and would recommend it. ... show more
