The wine cooler looks nice. Compressor is relatively quiet. Just a faint, low hum when it's on. It does not run excessively. It easily fit all of the bottle lengths and diameters that I had. I measured energy usage, and it seems to be about 1 kW-hr per day. We had a major dent in it from shipping, but the seller was terrific in offering either to return it, or keep it with a discount. I've been considering buying a wine fridge for quite some time. I typically keep a dozen or so bottles of white chilled at any given time and I was tired of having them take up so much space in my full-size refrigerator. I finally took the plunge and got this unit. It arrived pretty quickly, but was missing a part (that didn't affect operation of the unit). I reached out to the seller and they quickly responded back. They send me a replacement which arrived in a few weeks. The unit has been operating and maintaining temperature reliably for about a month now. I'm pleased with the purchase because not only did it free up room in my fridge, but keeping white chilled to the right temperature (which is higher than what a regular refrigerator is set to) has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the wine drinking process! I never imagined it would be so noticeable, but the flavors are definitely enhanced and bolder. I don't think I could go back to not using a wine fridge. ... show more

After doing an exhaustive search on the best beverage cooler and likely driving my wife to the brink of divorce by bringing the topic up so many times I finally settled on the Staigis 3.2 based on reviews as well as price and style/size. Shipping was really quick for a non prime item, I think it took maybe 5 days from when I ordered it to when it arrived. Unfortunately when I received my new fridge last week I noticed the trim around the door was chipped on one corner when I unpackaged it, which I'm assuming happened during shipping. When I reached out to Staigis customer support for a solution they were super helpful. Initially they offered to ship me a second fridge for free, but when I told them I would also be willing to live with the minor cosmetic damage on this one for a partial refund they went ahead and refunded me for the ENTIRE cost! Aside from the small chip the fridge itself is awesome; it holds temperature really well down to 38 degrees (which honestly feels even colder because my beers are ICE COLD) and it's extremely quiet. We have it in our bar area adjacent to our living room and you can't hear it at all when watching tv. I've only had it plugged in for about 1 week but it doesn't have any frosting issues so far and any fog on the glass disappears quickly when the door is closed again. I did have a slight buzzing/rattling sound when I first turned it on but I tightened the screws to the back plate and made sure the fridge was level and it went away. Just follow the directions when setting up and you'll be golden. Overall a great purchase (does this still count as a purchase?) and excellent customer service, I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a new beverage fridge! ... show more

I have this Fridge for 2 years and it’s completely dead. Does not even turn on. In beginning it worked great. But it’s obviously a poorly made item for it not to last more than 2 years. I am still shocked. You would assume a refrigerator would last at least 5 if not 10 + years. The fridge in my basement came with my house 12 years ago and still running perfectly, & who knows how long the previous owner had it before me. Item looks nice but poorly made. I bought this 5/2024. We love this. Perfect for our needs. Looks beautiful Works great. Sometimes we have door condensation (in our basement on the lake) so we just turn the temperature up a couple degrees to stop it.
