I'm a guy with longish hair and I've never used a fancy brush like this. I was skeptical of something surrounded by "ionic" vocabulary but after figuring out it really comes down to applied heat, I thought I'd try it out as a potential solution to frizzy hair. I'm still experimenting but I've had some positive results. The ionic feature definitely has an effect beyond an ordinary brush, both for drying damp hair and keeping it in place. However on already dry hair I'ven't seen as dramatic a result. Sometimes it seems to smooth it out, other times it seems to add frizz. I live in an unfortunately humid environment, so it's hard to say what's going on for sure. Overall, I'd recommend it for the value if you're looking to try out an ionic brush, but expect varying results. ... show more

As for taming frizz, it's not a bad product. It would be much easier to use if it had a handle. I'll keep using it and see if the frizz improves with use.

    • Get rid of the frizzes
I always have some hairs out of place. Now that I have this brush, I can smooth them down. This does work and so Im pretty happy!

    • Depends on hair type
It did not work for me. It made my hair more frizzy. I have fine but very wavy, almost curly hair. They say you’re not supposed to brush curly hair when dry so maybe that is why. My mom uses it after she wakes up and it works for her. She has thicker, straight, full hair.

    • Not worth the money.
The idea is nice but It doesn’t seem to work like it suppose to. It’s feels like a regular brush. It’s doesn’t shine or make it feel smother after using. All it seems to do is make my hair extra static

It does work. I have very fine hair that's not only frizzy but also creates this halo of electric hair. This brush takes care of both, it makes it all even, sleek & smooth. Is is much better than an anti-static wood or ceramic brush? It is. My hair gets really nice and smooth. The only problem is, it won't last long. Change your shirt and it's frizzy again. Not as bad as before but the halo is visible again. Good thing is that the brush is really handy to carry in your purse and keep with you all day. ... show more
