I buy a lot of stuff online but rarely review home goods; I grew up using nice European stuff and kind of expect to be disappointed in everything I buy stateside, or at least I hold it to a different set of standards. That said, this blanket is LOVELY. You can see that it's gorgeous from the photos, but the quality is remarkable. It is lightweight but has a much thicker/longer pile than supermarket type fleece, and the fine weave makes it unbelievably soft. It doesn't shed or trigger by hyperactive allergies, and it's just warm enough. The hems are soft, not itchy. Not wanting to fuss with measurements, I bought a King to cover my queen-sized bed entirely, and it does the job. The pinky-brown center of the spots is very neutral and next to my zebra print pillowcases, I feel like a sexy comic book girl. I want to snuggle into it all day and never wash it. (When I do, it will be hang-to-dry. Always, always do this with fluffy things.) This would be an excellent gift for anyone craving creature comforts. I couldn’t be happier with this blanket. The material feels soft and comfortable, but what really stands out is how rich and elegant the floral pattern looks in person. I bought this blanket because I love the color mauve and roses and I needed a warm blanket. I didn’t think it was going to be so plush! It’s so soft even when I washed it. It did not shrink. I bought a queen size but it looks even larger. The colors on it are fantastic. Very vibrant. Its background is pink which makes the mauve or fushia and the greenery of the roses stand out. It absolutely matches my decor. Very very warm and toasty. It was pricey I thought compared to other blankets but now that I have it I think it was absolutely worth the price. The durability is great as I said before I already washed it as soon as I got it. No fraying at the edges. No shedding. Not even little fuzzies collecting on it after the wash. I love this blanket! It’s one of my favorites! If I had a fireplace this blanket would be perfect to wrap around me to have some hot chocolate! But I don’t but it is still the perfect blanket to have around or on me. This blanket is so plush and soft...pure yummy! It is navy blue with beautiful vibrant pinks, greens and reds in the flowers and the little towers are a light blue. The design is just as vibrant on the reverse side. It is well made and I have no doubt it will last many years. Sooo soft! The price was great, it's a regular thickness blanket, it's warm and it has no shedding. It is a twin size blanket that can be used on any bed or as a huge throw. This blanket feels like a $20,000 fur coat! I LOVE it! Update: I ordered a King size in this design, as well. Perfect, now I have two, haha! ... show more

So soft with a nice weight to it, making it very cozy. It looks the same on both sides, so always looks great! No bad smell when opened. I washed it right away and there was just a tiny bit of lint in the dryer trap, which is fantastic. No shedding and doesn't lose volume when washed/dried. I immediately ordered 2 more after I saw how well it held up after laundered. EDIT: I ordered the blue with flowers and the purple bow blankets after receiving this black flower one. The blue flower one is also pretty on both sides. The purple bow one obviously has a good side, and it does not feel as nicely weighted as the flowered ones... it feels thinner, not as cozy. It is pretty and soft, but I prefer the look and feel of the flowered ones. ... show more
