I buy a lot of stuff online but rarely review home goods; I grew up using nice European stuff and kind of expect to be disappointed in everything I buy stateside, or at least I hold it to a different set of standards. That said, this blanket is LOVELY. You can see that it's gorgeous from the photos, but the quality is remarkable. It is lightweight but has a much thicker/longer pile than supermarket type fleece, and the fine weave makes it unbelievably soft. It doesn't shed or trigger by hyperactive allergies, and it's just warm enough. The hems are soft, not itchy. Not wanting to fuss with measurements, I bought a King to cover my queen-sized bed entirely, and it does the job. The pinky-brown center of the spots is very neutral and next to my zebra print pillowcases, I feel like a sexy comic book girl. I want to snuggle into it all day and never wash it. (When I do, it will be hang-to-dry. Always, always do this with fluffy things.) This would be an excellent gift for anyone craving creature comforts. I bought this blanket because I love the color mauve and roses and I needed a warm blanket. I didn’t think it was going to be so plush! It’s so soft even when I washed it. It did not shrink. I bought a queen size but it looks even larger. The colors on it are fantastic. Very vibrant. Its background is pink which makes the mauve or fushia and the greenery of the roses stand out. It absolutely matches my decor. Very very warm and toasty. It was pricey I thought compared to other blankets but now that I have it I think it was absolutely worth the price. The durability is great as I said before I already washed it as soon as I got it. No fraying at the edges. No shedding. Not even little fuzzies collecting on it after the wash. I love this blanket! It’s one of my favorites! If I had a fireplace this blanket would be perfect to wrap around me to have some hot chocolate! But I don’t but it is still the perfect blanket to have around or on me. Pretty and so, so silky soft. Not heavy, more of a mid weight fleece, cozy and warm. Washed once, on gentle cycle, tumble dry medium, came out beautiful. So comfortable and soft. I am usually a hot sleeper and this is almost perfect to use for bed by itself. I am 5’10 and got the twin size and it is perfectly long enough for me it actually has extra which never seems to happen with tall people so that’s great for the price which it had an extra coupon and I got it for $19! My kind of deal. It went down to 22 last night in my area and we don’t have heat and this kept me warm arm all night long. Looks super cute too on my day bed ... show more
