Description

Cable designed safari style extended length Header Bikini Top uses factory- style cable/spring mechanism similar to newer JK Wranglers. A pre-installed windshield channel makes installation easier and you don't need to buy separate channel. Uses your OEM polymer door surrounds for a great fit and smooth appearance. Premium fabric maintains its shape in any temperature, is mildew-resistant, contains UV inhibitors. High strength thread at all stress points with industrial grade webbing helps minimize flapping. It features heavy-duty composite buckles and fittings for long life.

If you're having issues with excessive wind flap and noise, you've installed it wrong. Bust out the directions, and try again. I installed mine, and went for a 10 mile highway drive on a hot South central TX day. No noise what so ever. After I stopped, I adjusted the straps, because the top will stretch when first installed. Several days later, still no noise even at 75 mph. The quality is what I expected from Bestop. They make good products. The top was easy to install, and looks great on my 12 Wrangler. I got lucky and didn’t have to mess around with low quality tops. This is my second Bestop Bikini top, replacing the seven year old and 39k mile top I’ve had since I bought the JK. The sprung cable keeps the top snug over the door channels. The adjustment straps keep the top from flapping in the wind. There is a break in period when new, the adjustment is as easy as pulling on the straps and once broken in there are no problems. I keel this top on all year round.     • Perfect fit when installed correctly
Fit perfectly on our 2015 Rubicon. Installation tip: if your top flaps on the wind, you likely installed the rear straps incorrectly. The rear straps should not split the sport bar. Both straps go on the outside of the bar and split the seatbelt mount. 70mph and very little flapping once I installed properly. ... show more

I have owned alot of jeeps. I decided on this bikini top because of the reviews. I just purchased my first Rubicon. This top is amazing. The configuration and fit is amazing and quiet even up to 80mph. We just went through a sideways rain and thankfully the wind was blowing straight at the windsheild but stayed absolutely dry inside. Fits well, a little flappy, put a bungee from the back around third brake light with some tarp clamps from the hardware store. Definitely cut down on the movement. Looks great with my duster. Keeps the sun off and the interior dry. I can roll it up and put it behind the seat when In want to see the clouds. Get one! ... show more

Flapping. Mine flapped like a Blackhawk helicopter was landing on my roof but I did figure out how-to make it stop. I can drive 80 mph and it does not flap anymore I put a slit in the rear seam under the pleather in the nylon and slid a 3/8" 4 foot steel rod through it and it has not flapped since. Kinda lame I had to do this but silence is golden. Not quite sure why they did not design it this way first. Also had to run it under the rear seat belts. ... show more
