Description

Troubleshooting : Due to variances in vehicles and climate conditions the following tips may help during installation. Install when temperature is above 70 degrees, The fabric can contract and stretch an inch or more. Any wrinkles will go away once it “relaxes” Do not fully clamp the front header down until top is completely on. Install with help from a friend. Make sure door surrounds are installed correctly. Install Side rear windows before installing the rear corners on the body. Make mental note on how your OEM top fit.

So I was skeptical as to how good this top would actually be. At just over $250 it was very appealing but there were quite a few negative reviews online along with many good ones. First let me say that I would not hesitate to buy this top again. It was super easy to install. I managed it (by myself) in around 45 minutes. All you need is a drill with a Philip’s bit and your good to go. Also a bit of tape is handy for holding the top in place while you situate it in the header bar. I’m ready to see how this holds up and plan on buying another after this one is worn out. I got 6 years out of the factory top and it was basically falling apart. If I can get 3 out of this one I will be happy. If your on the fence about it, take it from me. It’s worth it ... show more

I have a Jeep dealership. This is as good of quality as an OEM soft top and 1/3 the price. Excellent material , relatively easy install. All my mechanics checked it out and agreed. Superb soft top !

    • Have Fun! Not Bad!
My girlfriend and I actually had fun taking to old top off and putting the new one on. I didn’t look at the directions. As suggested by a previous review, watched a YouTube video. Just search for Smittybilt 9075235. I believe it’s a well-detailed video. It took us two hours, but that was watching bits and pieces of video for review as well as going back upstairs for tools and drinks a couple of times. ... show more

The soft top fit well. The videos online certainly were helpful and made installation much easier. The material fit very tight at first but loosed up after being in the sun a couple of days. It certainly is a good value when you check around for other similar products. Although I rated it as 4 Star on easy to install, Im sure all replacement soft tops would be the same. ... show more

Bought to replace factory top and is very nice, almost too loose and stretchy hah. And I can see out the tinted windows better than I thought I would be able to. Friend installed, it looked complicated but was easy for him.

It fits perfectly. My old soft top was leaking and now I have no leaks with this one. It was a little tricky to install, but definitely doable. It might be easier, or at least go more quickly, with someone to help. I would buy this again. It looks great and was not even a brand new product. It was "like new". I think the top works great. Easy install. I had to tighten the top up one time because I incorrectly screwed down the tabs in the back and it was causing some slack. But other than that, I like it. It rains constantly where I live and not one leak. It doesn't flap around while driving, not much wind noise. All the zippers work as they should. I will get another in the furture if I happen to damage this one. ... show more
