Top of the line soft top and engineered remarkably to align with Jeep's engineering!
Great product! I had no issues with pieces missing or damaged, everything was there and easily labeled in the instructions. I installed this myself with my dad and had only a few issues. First, 3 of the Pan Head Washer Screws broke when attempting to attach the Stray Strap to the #4 Bow. There was no extra hardware included, so we had to make a run to the hardware store. No big deal though. Also, the instruction were okay, but could have been better. We watched a YouTube video to help us through the install, but still struggled on a few things. The windows were difficult to snap on, but we expected that based on other reviews I've read. They suggested letting them sit out in the sun during install to make them stretchier, however the good ole' Missouri weather didn't cooperate as usual. The tailgate bar is the last step and it was very challenging to snap on! We got it kind of close enough, but I'll need to go back and try that one again! We were just ready for it to be done at that point. It honestly does not sound as bad as it seems. We had fun working on this, but be prepared to spend quite a bit of time on it and I wouldn't attempt it by yourself if you don't normally work on cars/Jeeps. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with my purchase! I spent a lot of time researching what would be best for me. I wanted to ditch he hard top, but knew I needed something else to endure the elements where I live as the weather is constantly changing. I am confident that I made a good choice with this top of the line soft top and can't wait to try out the various features!

Great Top
Looks great. Install said 4 hours and it only took me 2 days. Even with some install videos I had a take things apart and back up steps several times. Eventually was successful though and did the install solo. Windows much easier to take on and off than when they had zippers. Be careful when folding top, easy to smash your fingers. Looks great and is really very quiet with the top up and windows on. Recommend.

The top works great and looks good, it will take some patience to install.
Bought this for a JKU Jeep and thought, no problem ... this will be a nice easy installation (I was wrong). The installation takes quite a bit of time and work to do. I would try to find a cool place to do the installation (a garage or covered area if doing it in the summer is a life saver ... I think, I had to do it in the southern heat of summer). Top appears really well made, doesn't leak and isn't as loud out on the road as I would have suspected.

Great option for a summer top with a few little quirks
First off, this is really a great top. It looks great on the jeep, the heavy twill version has a lot less wind noise than you might expect, and the tinted windows are dark enough to help hide contents and look great. I installed it myself, and there are a couple of little issues I ran into during the installation. One of the pan head screws they supplied snapped off (using a manual screwdriver, not a drill) in one of the bows and it will be difficult or impossible to remove it. The issue is their pre drilled hole for the screw was probably too tight for the material thickness. All of the screws that thread into the tubes themselves went in fine, but this screw goes into a curved metal plate welded to one of the rear bows. They are meant to attach a strip of protective cloth and there are other screws at that location that hold everything in place so on practice it doesn't affect the operation of the top. Also one of the screws for one of the plastic end caps on one of the frame tubes was missing. I found a suitable replacement in my garage. I contacted Bestop and they agreed to send some replacement screws, but they told me it could be a 6 week wait. Really for the price of this product there should have been a handful of 20 cent spare screws in the box. There is literally only one screw for each hole and no room for mistakes. Better not do the install on a grassy lawn in case you drop one. Ok, now that's out of the way, I love this top! It's easy to open and close and it's configurable several different ways for different needs. But it has one quirk that is both its coolest feature, and its most inconvenient feature at once. That's the glide system for the windows. Having had a zippered hard top, and living where the dust is powder fine, soft top zippers jam up really easy and are a pain to get up and down. These glide windows solve all that and you can take them off in seconds without fighting with the dusty, sticking zippers. But, the channels that make the windows glide on and off are rigid and can't be bent. This means you can't roll the windows and stow them in the back. They have to be stored flat. This means you will need to buy the storage bag for them, and it might interfere with other cargo in your jeep. If I had known this before buying the glide, I might have bought the zipper window Trektop instead. Anyhow overall its a great top. After installing it the first time, it will be easier to swap with the hard top because you won't have to assemble anything, just unclip and remove the soft top and take the door frames off by unscrewing the knobs. Update 8-8-2020: Bestop did send the replacement screws, faster than the time they quoted me, so I'm very pleased with their customer service. Also as seen in the attached image, the back pane will collect a LOT of dust on the trail and after about 5 minutes you can't see out of the back. This happens to a greater degree with the Trektop style than a square back soft tops. If your trails are always damp or covered in leaves and organic material instead of fine powdered dust, you probably won't notice.

Great aftermarket Jeep Soft Top
I've had this installed for a couple weeks now. I wanted to wait until my first heavy rain to write a review. First off, the installation is hard. I'm not going to say how long it took me, because it's kind of embarrassing, but believe me, it was at least as much as stated in the description. Not only that, but at the end of it all, I was sore. I'm a pretty fit guy, workout often, and I needed a day of rest after this. Highly recommend having a friend around to help. I did not until the very end stages and it was a lifesaver. As for the top itself, once installed...I couldn't be happier. I purchased the twill fabric and it looks awesome. Riding with it fully on, there's really no more noise than the hard top. Everything is tight and no flapping at all. And I'm very happy to say, I drove through my first rainstorm today...about 1/2 hour drive in torrential rains (hard to see, even with wipers on high) and I couldn't spot a drop inside the car. It was probably raining all night too, and my car sits outside. Absolutely astonished that there were no leaks. Putting it back into sunrider mode is such a snap. And riding that way is very fun. Taking it to full open mode is also pretty easy, but having a friend helps in putting the fabric all the way back in the trunk. I'd probably knock 1/2 star off for not being able to easily store all the windows in the trunk (it can be done, but it'd be nice to have a bag like what comes with the hardtop - forums say they are close to having a solution - maybe by end of 2017). Other than that, everything is great so far. The pouches in the top are a nice touch. If you're looking for a soft top, stop here. There's no reason not to buy this one.

Called Best Top for a reason
Got this for my daughters jeep cause the hard top is to heavy to lift on and off everytime its nice out.(Plus if it rains while out your kinda out of luck) The soft tops One hand flip back(spring loaded) exposes all 4 seats to sun and then will fold all the way back out of way. Removal of side windows and rear is nice...slip fittings no zippers. Once the top is completely assembled(3 1/2 hrs watching you tube videos) a nice feature is that it is completely held on by 4... 2 1/2 inch round circle plastic hand screws so when winter comes No tools will be needed to completely remove or to install again if you want to go back to hard top . Once over the initial assembly day its easy to remove and install again for you hard toppers .Super well made and glad sprung the extra for the twill.This could easily stand up to long term all year round use.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE - HORRIBLE INSTALLATION DESIGN
TLDR; Based on the extreme difficulty and stress of installation alone, I CANNOT recommend this product. Engineering or QA / QC at Bestop needs.... some serious introspection. This is without a doubt THE WORST installation design I've ever dealt with. I read all the other reviews... I prepared myself for an Ikea like struggle. This is another level y'all. Hell I'm an engineer, so even part of me thought "nah, these other reviewers.. they don't GET IT..." but. No. No they get it. My blood pressure and stress level the last two days has probably taken months off of my life. The printed instructions are JUST GARBAGE. So I took other reviewers advice and watched the video... and while it's somewhat better.. there's times where you can just tell that they really don't get it. The chances they have to show you an isometric angle that would help alleviate some complicated placements.. they instead focus on the back of a forearm as it screws in a screw... like WTF. LET ME SEE THE IMPORTANT PARTS. But fine... I can figure this out.. I'm smart. Bestop be like "this aint over". MANY of the pre-drilled holes are just COMPLETELY mis-aligned (see pictures). What makes this all the more frustrating... as you finagle things to get the best possible angles to TRY and make it work - these pre-drilled holes must be all 1 or 2 sizes too small. I am 6'4" and 225 lb, and not to sound cocky, but I'm quite muscular. Y'all... most every one of these screws required EVERY OUNCE of my weight and muscle to get in. I had to try and buy some extras because I stripped out so many along the way and Bestop doesn't include extras. If you don't have a drill, but think you'll get this with just a Philips head screwdriver, LOOK ELSEWHERE. And as you can see, I've had to put so much weight behind these screws that God forbid your drill slip or the screw move, as mine has several times now, because as you can see I now have some NEW pre-drilled holes in the liner because of the inept job done on the pre-drills. Yayyyy. I SURELY hope that once installed this top is as good as everyone else says it is, but here being 2 days and many hours in to this awful process and still not being done (I've had to pause both days now to insure I don't just absolutely lose my temper).... I simply could never recommend this top to a friend based on installation alone. This process has just simply been NOT WORTH IT.

This is the soft top you've been looking for!
This was just the top I needed for my Wrangler. I did A LOT of research before I bought it because I was looking for a soft top that you could take the top all the way down and/or completely off and many soft tops you can't (Which is the whole reason for having a soft top in my opinion). It is definitely louder than my hard top but worth it for one person to be able to remove the top easily. The windows easily glide out and back on. I would like to be able to roll the windows up though so I could store them in the jeep while the top is down but they do not roll so you have to put them in your garage or somewhere which kind of defeats of purpose in case it starts to rain and you won't have the windows with you. However, the windows do fit in the backseat if nobody is sitting back there. It took my husband and I five hours to install but it only took us 15 minutes to remove it along with all the hardware in order for me to put my hard top back on for winter. Next summer it should only take us 30 minutes max to go from my hard top to the soft top. I highly recommend this soft top to anyone looking!
