Warning: It has easy to follow directions for assembly, but is tedious work because of its size and many smaller attachments. Seems to be made of sturdy materials. My husband put together and installed in the yard. It was a 3-day process to dig the hole, let it dry out, and set the base pole in concrete before actually erecting the entire poled structure. I like watching the Purple Martins. Had a hard time placing the house, we have a lot of trees and small buildings on our property.

It's all plastic and very hard to put together. Very expensive kit. I do hope I am able to bring in the birds. I do feel like it might not hold up in the weather, time will tell.

Very poorly made and was defective to the point it could not be assembled. Way over priced for what you get. Insides are thin pieces of corrugated plastic and only slot together so a good wind will take it apart. Not at all sturdy. Slots did not alien so it could not be assembled and I have put stuff together a lot. ... show more

    • Holding up nicely
Putting together was not difficult following the step by step instructions. We were concerned about how it would hold up in Midwestern storms, but it has done just fine through two good storms. Cannot wait to see some Purple Martins.
