Had this little dude for about 6 months now. almost didn't purchase because of the small woofer but so glad I did. I used this with some homemade bookshelf speakers for a PC setup and man this thing sounds good. I love a lot of deep bass and it delivers. Highly Recomend

The media could not be loaded. Unbelievable for the price. I’m giving it 5 stars despite it missing one of the footpads on arrival. I’ve written the manufacturer. I would replace it with Amazon but I don’t want to be a day without it or hassle with the shipment if I can avoid it. Note that this speaker has an LFE input which the Rockshaker does not. Even the low end Polk doesn’t have that input and it’s precisely what you need for a modern surround sound. If you drive subs off RCA jacks they won’t mute! Don’t make that mistake. LFE is what you need. You can actually feel this thing. So small! Looks nice. Fires down. If you’re looking for a bargain sub this is it. Can you really tell the difference between this and an $350 Polk or Klipsch? Note mine does not seem to have the problem some had with it automatically powering down. The manufacturer indicates this is an updated version that solves the problem. Don’t hesitate. Seen here playing Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin on my turntable! 🔥 🔥 🔥

Purchased this product with low expectations due to the price point, but was surprised by the subs ability to deliver and pair well with my small bookshelf speakers. The unit functioned as expected and produces quite good response for its size, but had some off and on issues. The size and functionality (High Pass Input and output in particular) fit my needs, so I kept it and it worked well for about 5 months, then last week it just quit working al together. I contacted Besitan Customer Service and they were responsive, promising to replace the damaged unit, so I've upgraded my review to 4 stars based on Besitan's service.

The very first thing in the product description is: "Updated Version- Cancelled the auto on/off feature of old version, the subwoofer wouldn't shut off after 15 to 20 minutes". This is absolutely false. It DOES turn off after a little while with no input. And receiving input afterward DOES NOT turn it back on. I'll be returning it.

Update: April 2024. This unit had a hum and it turns out the hum was due to the external power supply (120VAC to 24 VDC) supplied with the unit. I replaced the power supply with another one and the hum went away. My Fisher receiver/amplifier died so I recently replaced it with a Yamaha R-S202. Using a pair of Polk T-15's with a 32 year old Fisher Stereo Receiver Integrated Amp. (50 watts per channel). Using this with my desk top PC to play music in my home office. Using the wired speaker output which passes through to the Polks. I found I had to set the Subs volume to about 90% and the cross over at the preset notch (about midway). At first the response of the sub was not very dynamic. It also has a hum. After about 8 hours the sound improved so you definitely should "burn-in" the sub. The auto-on/off feature does not work at low volume I have to increase the volume to get the it going (pilot light turns from red to blue). Over all not a bad little sub for the price and I am pleased with it.

I have a home theatre with one sub in the front. I was not getting the amount of LEF I desired. Especially when playing the movies with a Sensurround Audio track. So I purchased this sub to put in the back of the room to work with the sub in the front. Wow, what a difference. And this sub is only turned up half way. The addition of this sub filled my home theatre with great bass (LEF). Even feel the vibration in our recliner seats. Now those Sensurround movies (Earthquake, Midway 1975 and Rollarcoaster) sound the way they should. Just like in their original theatrical runs. I highly recommend this product to anyone who desires great bass sound. A lot of power from a little box. And a great price too.

The media could not be loaded. Subwoofer actually does 90 from the receiver and does a 400 to 500 Max now that's high powered if you push it very hard not to get that kind of power out of it you have to tune your receiver to a 10-10 on the decoder settings the subwoofer has its own knob adjustment for home theaters do 80 Hertz for Sound Bars you can do up to 160 for higher pitch but for theaters you want lower pitch because your theaters have more speakers and you want the lowest deepest base you can get for the most boom . And if you're using the audio fiber optic cord set your TV two notches up on sub and disabled your TV speakers and try to use the Dual Bay anonymous decoder mode that is the best. What the TV will do is it will increase its decoder mode for the sub sound that is default speakers detect but the speakers disabled the only other sound will be through the fiber optic output from the fiber optic output to your receiver you said it too surround mode instead everything up how it should be 5.2 5.1 and from there everything should work as normal.
