Unbelievable for the price. I’m giving it 5 stars despite it missing one of the footpads on arrival. I’ve written the manufacturer. I would replace it with Amazon but I don’t want to be a day without it or hassle with the shipment if I can avoid it. Note that this speaker has an LFE input which the Rockshaker does not. Even the low end Polk doesn’t have that input and it’s precisely what you need for a modern surround sound. If you drive subs off RCA jacks they won’t mute! Don’t make that mistake. LFE is what you need. You can actually feel this thing. So small! Looks nice. Fires down. If you’re looking for a bargain sub this is it. Can you really tell the difference between this and an $350 Polk or Klipsch? Note mine does not seem to have the problem some had with it automatically powering down. I'm not picky when it comes to subwoofers, but this one impresses as it can fill the room with bass despite it's small size. Easy to set up and use.

    • Great little subwoofer
Great little sub for a bedroom or small space. Runs out of juice for rap music, but other types of music and movies it keeps up perfectly. I have mine in our primary bedroom with gain turned down to about 75%, and I still had to turn the reciever gain down to match the surround sound levels.

    • Budget subwoofer that gets the job done
I bought this to replace a Yamaha subwoofer that went out. This one is much smaller and compact, and it's a budget subwoofer, but it gets the job done. I have this in my basement and it provides the base effects I want for my mid-level home theater system.

    • Avoid - does not work consistently, and no company service at all!
Avoid this subwoofer - i use it with a WIIM amp which is extremely good, but this sub cuts out all the time so half the time i have no bass, and have to constantly turn it on and off as the auto on must not work - i emailed the company for a replacement, and got zero support. Avoid this product and I unfortunately have to scrap it - waste of all my money. I live in California and have a lot of stereo and AV experience. ... show more

Bass is good but it shouldn’t be advertised as a studio subwoofer. When I run the wires from interface to subwoofer. Subwoofer to studio speakers. It doesn’t work.

    • Great Sub woofer Powerful for its size
I have a home theatre with one sub in the front. I was not getting the amount of LEF I desired. Especially when playing the movies with a Sensurround Audio track. So I purchased this sub to put in the back of the room to work with the sub in the front. Wow, what a difference. And this sub is only turned up half way. The addition of this sub filled my home theatre with great bass (LEF). Even feel the vibration in our recliner seats. Now those Sensurround movies (Earthquake, Midway 1975 and Rollarcoaster) sound the way they should. Just like in their original theatrical runs. I highly recommend this product to anyone who desires great bass sound. A lot of power from a little box. And a great price too. ... show more
