Great product, the modes are great for those that strive for the 8 hours of sleep. It has baby mode and adult mode where each has different variation of white noise to help one fall asleep and stay asleep though out the night beside the nightly potty break.! Slight defect is the modes of noise goes from light the heavier but with a significant just from the second to last to the last level.! Other than that it’s a great product that helps me sleep and keep my phone away from being used as a noise machine!

I purchased this over a Dohm because of the price. I have used a Dohm before and wasn't super satisfied with the volume settings (I felt it was too quiet), and I also didn't want to pay for a Dohm which was close to twice the price of this one. This sound machine has a good range of volume and can get louder than the Dohm. That being said, there is a definite motor whirring sound that I can hear, that I could not with the Dohm. It doesn't bother me too much now that I'm used to it, but I will definitely keep this in mind with future purchases if I ever need another sound machine.

So Here is my honest opinion. This IS a great white noise machine and very soothing. I was a bit nervous using it because we have a box fan we have been using for years and we wanted something that took up less space. So as far as how loud it is if you keep it next to your bed like im assuming most people do it seems pretty loud. We however have ours about 12ft away from us which is the same spot our box fan was. Our night stands have other things occupying the plugs. So my first thought when i laid in bed was this isnt very loud. In comparison to our box fan it was more like having it on the lower setting at that distance. But i wanted to use it a few nights to get a better idea weather i was going to send it back to get something louder or keep it. To be honest it is perfect, not too soft that you cant hear anything but not so loud it drowns every little noise out. You can still here some noises in the background(like the cars going by on our busy street) a little muffled but still able to tell what the noise was if that makes sense. So overall i do feel this is a good product and seems well made.

I like the Bestand noise Machine because it does just what it was designed to do! Block out noisy sounds. I live in a apartment and now I do not have to listen to my noisy neighbors conversation when she's on the phone I can turn my sound machine up and that blocks out the noise. I like the facts! I can turn it up and down at my own pleasure! I give the sound machine 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
