These chairs are great for small spaces, surprisingly comfortable, and arrive essentially assembled (only the legs need attached). Perfect for a home office or spare cot for overnight guests, cot is excellent for those who prefer firm, could add mattress topper to soften if needed. Cute and functional, great for a lounging. Well designed for balance, but I do wish it was taller. If you have bad knees or hips, it does sit low, and you have to put more force into standing up from like a squat position. I bought it as a fold out bed for my guest room. I took a brief nap on it and it was fine. The pillow helps, but with the boxiness, the angle while in a lounge (legs out but top like a chair) it starts to hurt your back or butt after a bit. I like that it it multi-functional, nice looking and I don't have to have a bed in the background of my office/guest room while working from home. AND light enough to carry upstairs (A guy that lifts weights or two non-athletic women) to protect your back! ... show more

This chair is very functional and aesthetic. 1. Easy to install 2. None smell on the fabric 3. Good quality 4. Firm 5. Size is perfect for my space 6. Seller is attentive checking if you got the chair and how do you feel about the product. Customer service is good. 7. As someone else commented here you can feel the mechanisms but nothing that you cannot deal with. 8. Is really comfortable if you like firm like I do otherwise might be a problem for someone who like soft mattress or sofas. 9. If it’s too hard or firm you can add extra cushion with a blanket or top mattress. I do put on top my Japanese mattress and works just fine. 10. Seat works great. Have not slept on it but we use it in our bedroom to sit down and read books or watch TV. Comfortable to sit on it. Easy to open up and turn it into a bed. Very sturdy.

It's stylish, decently comfortable, but I cannot move it without constantly having to reset the alignment of the back portion. It doesn't have the smallest amount of resistance so I have to carry it or only move it from the bottom. Would be nice if it was a little less touchy and actually like a chair unless someone really tried to adjust it. Overall decent and valuable enough to keep it but it's a bit of a pain to have to be careful when I move it Everytime (I can't just grap the back and push it out of the way really quick) ... show more

The product was HORRIBLE! Expensive and cheap once you get it ! Cheep material , super hard and super low you are almost on the floor if that’s what you are looking for! Once the sofa bed is actually opened, it’s practically on the floor. As a regular customer I tried to return it , I packed up and brought it to my local UPS, only to find out in order for me to return it I had to pay over $300 FOR SHIPPING !!!! EXCUSE ME , PAYING TO RETURN IT MORE THAN WHAT THE ACTUAL PRODUCT WAS WORTH ?!!! Obviously UPS has no fault in it .. I tried to contact the merchant and they did not respond that was ALL A WASTE FOR SOME CHEAP PRODUCT! Do not buy it if you are iffy about the product , because if you end up not liking it and have to return it Amazon has nothing to do with this small business selling this sofa bed, so you are on your own! ... show more

    • Fantastic! Just what we needed!

These are really great. I bought 2 for a little studio apartment at the beach. They are perfect. They sit nice and low, so the room feels bigger. They are light weight, so they are easy to move around from individual chairs to a little love seat/sofa. The back is adjustable with a few logical incremenal stops (around 5 or so), so you don't need to have it with the back at 90 degrees like the photos. They come with little throw pillows, but plan on buying a few more to help cover the gap between the bottom and seat back... and maybe a throw blanket to dress it up a bit. I just slept on it and, although it's quite firm, it's far better than any air mattress. I might put a mattress topper or Japanese Mattress on top of it. For the price, these are a fantastic solution. Better than any pull out couch, futon, or blow up mattress. ... show more
