This Best Price Mattress 14-inch Metal Platform Bed Frame has been a fantastic upgrade for my bedroom! I was looking for something sturdy, simple, and affordable, and this frame ticked all the boxes. I was previously using a box spring, and I wanted a cleaner, more modern look. This platform frame delivered! Assembly was surprisingly easy. I was a little intimidated at first, but the instructions were clear and all the necessary tools were included. I put it together by myself in about an hour, no problem. Everything fit together snugly and feels very secure. The frame itself is incredibly solid. It's made of sturdy metal and doesn't wobble or creak at all. I was a bit worried about stability, especially since it's so high off the ground, but it's been rock solid. The 14-inch height is perfect – it provides plenty of under-bed storage space, which is a huge plus for me. I can easily fit bins and boxes underneath without any issues.     • Great Value, Easy Assembly
Size: Queen Style: 16 Inch Pattern Name: Black Bed Frame
Came on time and as described. My 15 year old grandson put this together for me in about 20 minutes. The hardest part was balancing parts while securing two pieces. He got assistance from little brothers and it went smoothly. It was light enough for us to turn on it's side while we brought it through the bedroom door fully assembled, and set it on the floor without issue. Sturdy after a few months use, I can't find fault with it at all! For me, I found that without the need of a boxspring the mattress just sits upon the bars -which is fine and hasn't been any trouble except tucked in sheets make fall and or hang down which -to me- looks untidy. My solution was to purchase a simple sheet of masonite, cut it to size, and secure it to the bars with "AlienTape". I put a large piece of bubble shelf liner between the masonite and the mattress (in the center) to keep it from sliding, which has been fine. The height of the frame along with a new mattress is high, but not too high to get into. I am 5'4" and have arthritis and I can still manage. If you have physical issues getting in a higher bed or if you are a bit shorter you may want a lower height on the legs for safety. The amount of storage under the bed is enormous! As my 12 year old grandson said "We could camp under here!" My original intent was to place large baskets underneath, but I like the look of it without anything under the bed, and it's much easier to keep the floor clean! BOTTOM LINE: A great value for a simple design, easily assembled, with PLENTY of storage! ... show more

THIS... Is Best Price Mattress's 14 Inch Metal Platform for a mattress (I got it in a queen size) and it is a great, quick assembly foundation. I was able to disassemble, move my mattress, assemble and place the mattress back on this stand in 30 minutes or less - so I say you could absolutely put this together in 10-20 minutes if that is all you have to do! It comes with all the tools you need, however, I highly recommend a power drill with an allen key head bit kit to make it both quicker and a tighter fit. I am unable to really bend or break this stand, and the slats hold my mattress, fiance and two dogs just fine! The only thing to note is that it is somewhat lightweight and my dog can move it around on my hardwood - that's my fault for having hardwood in my bedroom and not carpet though. Overall, I love this mattress and found it to be a super nice value for my bed and some extra room under for totes and pull-out drawers. I think you will share the same sentiment as I do should you purchase this bedframe as It was a great solution! ... show more
