  • Guests always compliment how comfy the bed is
Size: 12 Inch Style: Queen Pattern Name: Mattress
The Best Price Mattress 12 Inch Queen Mattress has been a fantastic addition to our guest bedroom. We consistently receive compliments from guests on how comfortable the bed is, which is probably the best endorsement a mattress can get! It offers a great balance of support and comfort, and guests often comment on how well they slept during their stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially for the price point. It feels much more expensive than it is and has held up beautifully. If you’re furnishing a guest room and want a comfortable, budget-friendly mattress that your guests will genuinely appreciate, this is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • A Great Mattress for a Great Price
Size: 12 Inch Style: Queen Pattern Name: Mattress
Earlier this summer, I purchased my Best Price Mattress at the recommendation of a friend for my first apartment in college. While I did not know much about Best Price Mattress before I purchased one, I was ready to evaluate the mattress once it arrived. In no particular order, the most important aspects of a mattress were: - Price: As I did not expect to keep the mattress for very long (less than two years), I was not willing to spend $800 on a mattress. - Comfort: I prefer a more firm mattress, and I wanted to make sure that I would not be in pain because of my mattress. - Convenience: I had no interest in going to a store, picking out a mattress, and arranging for delivery to my house. Rather, I wanted a one-stop-shop that made the selection process easy for me. First, it is important to address the positives. In short, this mattress will well exceed your expectations. For less than $400, you will be able to afford not only the mattress, but also a frame (also made by Best Price Mattress). This was a very pleasant surprise, as many people would expect a higher budget to be necessary to afford a queen size bed. In terms of comfort, it’s a very soft mattress on the top layer, but also provides the necessary firmness and support for your back and neck. Personally, I have not yet had any issues with sleeping on this bed for more than 6 weeks. Lastly, you will be very happy to find that the box weighs less than 70 pounds and is very easy to maneuver through your home. Upon cutting the plastic wrap, the memory foam inflates to full size in no more than 5 minutes. Possibly the only negative thing to say about this mattress is lead time, as it took about 10 days to arrive from the order placement date. To alleviate this, I would recommend planning ahead, as the Amazon delivery estimate tends to be very accurate and will eliminate surprises if you choose to purchase this mattress. In all, I am thoroughly satisfied with my decision to purchase my Best Price Mattress, for a rating of 9/10. For a cheap college student or someone looking to upgrade their bedroom without breaking the bank, this is a fantastic option. ... show more

  • Ridiculously good longevity for the price
Size: 12 Inch Style: Queen Pattern Name: Mattress
I bought this mattress in 2017- so 9 years and 5 months ago and now am ready to replace it. This has been INCREDIBLE for the price and only in the last year and a half or so has shown signs of breaking down into two human-shaped dents. The longevity for the price is crazy. When I first got it it was intensely springy and remained comfortable, even if some of the springiness eventually subsided, for nearly a decade. The ONLY issue I've had was that I needed to get sheets with extra fabric at the bottoms and reinforced corners because the sheets LOVE to slide up and slip off. I'll be repurchasing this exact same mattress, fingers crossed the quality hasn't changed. ... show more

  • Best Price Mattress - King size 12 inch
Size: 12 Inch Style: King Pattern Name: Mattress
Product details: Best Price Mattress - King size 12 inch Updated Review as of 08/22/17: 4 Star Apparently the movement in the mattress was due to the new bed frame we bought with the mattress, now we have changed the bed frame and we don't feel the movement, its very comfortable. The mattress has become a bit too firm, but we are liking it. Review as of 08/11/2017: 2 Star I am not sure if I got a defective item or if all the reviews don't really care for issues similar to mine. Need: We brought the King size because our current Sleep innovations Queen size doesn't satisfy the needs of our 1 year old sleep movements. After around 70 + hours of leaving the mattress to raise etc. its still not uniform in shape (Not a big concern for me as long as its comfortable) My major concern: Finally, when we slept on this mattress, it was comfortable initially. But, every time my kid moved, me and my wife could clearly sense the movements (Like spring mattress) noticeably annoying and we had a very tiresome night with many breaks. My understanding of Memory Foam is to get better comfort and less disturbance due to movement of your partner (that's exactly what my current 6 year old memory foam mattress does) (Our weights together less than 300 lb's) ... show more

  • Very pleasant surprise! Value and comfort.
Size: 12 Inch Style: Queen Pattern Name: Mattress
We bought this mattress when my waterbed mattress of 14 years sprung a small leak. I'd been looking at memory foam mattresses for a while now, and knew I wanted a thicker model with a decent layer of memory foam. I was on a budget, being the week of Christmas when we needed a new mattress...ugh. Best Price Mattress seemed to have low prices and great reviews on Amazon. I studied them for a few hours, compared to other brands, and kept coming back to BPM. I saw this 12" model had pressure point relief as well. I have a touchy back, and my wife has arthritis, so having good support and a soft surface were equally important. Unpacking the mattress was easy--cut open the box, slid out the bag, slit the bag down its seam, and carried the plastic-wrapped mattress to my bedframe. Laid it in position and removed the plastic wrap. Poof! Within moments this mattress expanded to about 8". I let it rest for a couple hours, and it was to 11". I made the bed, which helped warm it a bit more after being on a cold truck in Buffalo all morning. By dinner time, the mattress was at its full 12", and it was soft to lay on. By bedtime, it was an absolute joy to crawl into bed. The memory foam immediately surrounds you as you gently sink, and you feel your hips supported by the pressure point foam in the middle. I've slept like a rock the last few days on this mattress. And for only $239, I couldn't go wrong! The smell was minimal. No worse than when I bought new memory foam pillows. It dissipates rather quickly, and you get used to it in the meantime. Once linens are on, it's negligible. I highly recommend this mattress, and to go for the extra couple inches from the 10' mattress. It does make a difference. On a cold night, it's a bit chilly crawling into bed, but it warms up fast with body heat. We'll probably get a heated mattress pad just to keep it more pliable and welcoming for bedtime. But very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Good value and product, no smell
Size: 12 Inch Style: Twin Pattern Name: Mattress
Good firm mattress, a little firmer that we had expected. It is a little wider than the frame we got, but that is on us. Overall, very satisfied on a very good value for the money. No odors whatsoever, and I am sensitive to odors.

  • ... chance with this one and we couldn't be much happier. We've been spoiled with a Tempurpedic for about ...
Size: 12 Inch Style: Cal King Pattern Name: Mattress
We took a big chance with this one and we couldn't be much happier. We've been spoiled with a Tempurpedic for about ten years, but went looking for a new one and were stunned to see how much the prices had risen since our last purchase. It was hard to believe that any mattress could be so much better than this one that it could justify being ten times the cost. So, we researched the mattress rating websites, read the reviews, and finally decided on this one after reading that we heavy-weights (no, you don't need to know how heavy!) do best with a foam mattress at least 12 inches thick (Innersprings were not an option!). My only criteria for a foam mattress was the firmness. Frankly, I would prefer to sleep on a plywood board. My husband wanted something a little softer than our Tempurpedic Classic. I suggested this one based on reviewer comments that it was "firm," with the knowledge that what most people call "firm," probably would not be firm enough for me, but soft enough for him. I was actually terrified when I first got on it because it is certainly not what I would call firm by any stretch, however, once positioned, it felt surprisingly supportive. This mattress does not have side panels, so getting in can be a little tricky until the mattress starts to take on some bit of body impression. Falling out will not be out of the question for a few night either! Foam mattresses, especially relatively soft ones, can be difficult to shift around in. For toss-and-turners, it may be tough, but I was honestly so comfortable that my tossing and turning was cut to almost nothing. There was the outgassing typical of foam mattresses. If space allowed, I would have opened it up, allowed it to grow to size and air out, and waited a few days before putting it on, but alas, the comfort quotient made me forget the smell! Standard size sheets will fit this well. If you've not had a foam mattress before, please know some are a little warm to sleep in and can get brick hard when the room temperature is cold (until you are in it for a bit). This one is not as warm as my Tempurpedic was and does not get nearly as hard when cold. I've you've only had an innerspring, you'll probably hate this for a week, but give it a chance! I was concerned about buying a "bargain" mattress, but after finding out that this mattress is made by the same folks that make some of the pricier brands, I figured the savings made it worth a try. It came tightly shrink wrapped in about a week. I was able to bring the king size mattress up the stairs alone. I would suggest you make sure the bottom of the mattress is down before you open the plastic. I opened it upside down and it was a real pain to turn right-side-up. The instructions said to allow 48 hours for it to grow to proper size, but we slept on it after four hours without issue. It grows to size quickly. My only concern now is longevity, but I figure, it would have cost $3500 to replace my Tempurpedic with a new, comparable model, with the expectation that it would last about ten years. For the price of this one, I could replace it every year and not be any worse off. I suspect the longevity may not be as good as my TP, but will likely give me my money's worth. Prior to purchase, we were concerned that if we didn't like it, we'd have to pay to send it back. It may be worth it to find out how much this would cost. I can also guarantee you that you will never be able to compress this to send it back the way it came. I imagine a king size mattress at full size might cost a kidney to return cross-country! We almost bought a Novosbed for this reason, but again, figured that sending this one back would still cost less than the $700 difference between a Novosbed and this one. Overall, we are pretty happy campers! ... show more

  • I too was exposed to fine fiberglass particles
Size: 12 Inch Style: Full Pattern Name: Mattress
[Edited 11/24/18 - see bottom] So, we have had this mattress for two years and noticed that it was getting lumpy. We could feel something knotted up under the cover. So I pulled it back to find that the firesock was in pieces and completely degraded. Now, I know what fiberglass looks like, I have worked with it in boats, cars, insulation, etc. This did not look or feel like fiberglass, it looked like fine blonde toddler hair. I started cleaning out the clumps of material that I assumed was some sort of a polyester fabric. I then got a vacuum cleaner involved to get the small stuff up. It was not until a bit of sunlight popped through the window that I realized the air was full of fiberglass particles. At this point I had been working in it and breathing it for at least 30 minutes. So I grabbed a high-power LED flashlight and discover that I was covered head to toe and our bedroom wall to wall in fine fiberglass. I previously had a more expensive USA made memory foam mattress and it was wrapped in what looked like panty hose material. We had slept on it for over 15 years and it had never worn through and it was not fiberglass. I discussed this with a friend of mine who works in the industry and he said that more brands than you might think are using fiberglass, but they are almost always the cheaper or over-seas manufactured stuff. He says that I should steer clear of any model that uses it because it simply will not last as I have experienced with this mattress. He says that fiberglass is cheap and will pass the fire certification test, but unfortunately there are no regulations that deal with the longevity or results of using it in a mattress. I have been ill for days coughing stuff up and feel like I have pneumonia. According to the doctor, it will clear with time but will likely leave some permanent damage. It is not dangerous in terms of coal mining dust or asbestos, but he says there is little research on its long-term effects. So if you have this mattress and it starts getting the lumps from the fire sock breaking down, just toss it in the garbage and move on. DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER! I know it has a zipper, just convince yourself that it does not. I do not remember reading anything about this when I received the mattress. I am looking for the limited documentation that shipped with it to verify if there were warnings about this. [11/24/18] We purchased a new bed, so while I was having this one removed, I snapped photos of the tags and have added them here. As you can see, it clearly says that the inner cover, known as a "Fire Sock", is made of glass. It also says that the outer cover is removable for cleaning. However, DO NOT DO IT! It only says not to remove the inner cover, but what else can you do if it starts breaking and clumping the way ours did? I am still having issues with breathing. I had asthma as a kid and have needed to use an inhaler a couple of times a week since this fiasco. I did find the original paperwork, but it was just instructions on how to allow the mattress to inflate to full size before using. I wish Amazon did not sell these and I am disappointed when I see similar ones at box stores like Wal-Mart. Buyer beware. ... show more
