Was really excited for this bed but when we got it in the headboard smelled absolutely terrible. Like a sweaty musty garbage smell. I’ve tried everything and i still can’t get the stink out- it’s nauseating. Then we pull out the wood pieces and they’re so thin!!!!!! It was like they used the cheapest wood they could find and did the absolute BARE minimum. Doesn’t even come with any extra screws or anything. It’s pretty to look at but Jesus the quality for the base is so bad. I felt like a ordered a $200 bed frame and not 500+. Would not reccomend ... show more

I am a 5'8" tall 50+ female and have a California King bed. I was leery about platform beds and didn't know if it was better to use the box spring along with the platform. I did use my box spring and am very please with the results. The metal bed frame I had before I bought this actually bowed in the legs because of the weight of the bed (I'm not quite that overweight!) and was squeaky. Now my bed is solid and sturdy. The mattress feels brand new! However, you sent me 2 RIGHT WINGS! I would request that you send me the LEFT WING. Please let me know what I need to do to get that done. How can I get the left wing to this bed since I was sent 2 RIGHT WINGS?? PLEASE contact me. Need to return the wrong wing!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very VERY poor quality. Bad craftsmanship and takes about 6 hours to assemble using good tools. Good luck using the tools and instructions provided. Every night I have to put the mattress support wood ribs in the right place. The frame is wider on the head rest than on the other end so you have to work really hard to fit it together. No stiching anywhere all the fabrics are stapled together. The only reason I don't return it is that I don't want to spend another six hours disassembling it. I think they know that I'll just get some plywood panels to replace the support ribs. ... show more

Overall the bed frame is beautiful and sturdy. However, upon assembling my husband stumbled upon a piece with torn fabric :(. Since we have it assembled we won’t send it back but wanted to make buyers aware.
