These mounts are worry free, I had a lot of doubt and questions if they would be able to handle the weight or made well or even had hard time trusting the walls. After getting one and installing it on the studs as it has been advised in the manual, the solidity of the product was impressive. I would highly recommend this kayak wall mount rack, I usually like to pay once and have it long time when I purchase things like that. Tired of moving your kayak to make room in your garage? I was. This was a simple solution and worked perfectly for me. My truck now fits in the garage with the kayak. The rack seems to be sturdy and does not put stress on your boat. I mounted it low to save my back in lifting the kayak to the rack. Very pleased.

We acquired this beautiful 16 foot canoe a few weeks ago. Instead of just laying it on the ground we wanted it hung up. This crafted canoe is made from western red cedar, Port Orford cedar and redwood strips. To show its beauty. I found these brackets and measured the canoe to make sure it would fit. I know typically these brackets are for kayaks, not a 16’ canoe. I’m pretty sure it weighs around 100 lbs. Brackets are very sturdy, well built material. An added item is the cushions wrapped around the metal, so your boat doesn’t sit on the metal. The straps are a nice feature as well, which holds it in place. I would have liked if the screws were an inch longer, but they seem to work. Comes with screws and full instructions. Well worth the price. I’d highly recommend this product.

We are organizing our metal barn and needed some sturdy racks for our kayaks. Specially for my husbands 15’ and very heavy fishing Kayak. These are so sturdy and hefty. Holds our kayaks well and versatal enough we could probably also use these for our paddle boards which are also big and heavy. They give us more room along the side of our camper. My husband did have to come up with a different method to hang them since it is a metal wall.there were no missing parts. They are very strong and well built.

Report 1.5 years later. These white racks seem to be painted with a quality powder coat. The padding holds up and the bayonet buckles work well and are very easy to adjust. Super value product.

Overall it is stable enough for my 11 ft 7 inch kayak. Rated at 77lbs it is not going anywhere on this wall. I highly suggest you measure and few times before drilling. Also the 3/16 drilling bit is inaccurate for the plastic sockets to fit and will definitely need to be a bit bigger on the bit. Overall I’m satisfied and only time will tell if the install was correct.

Absolutely a great product, as advertised and rated by so many. My only complaint is that one of the two sets I ordered was obviously used and repackaged before sending to me. One of the two sets was wrapped in plastic and had all the parts/screws. The other set had dirt residue and was missing the screws and dry wall taps. I didn’t return the item because I have screws and the product seemed solid. My only suggestion would be to ensure that your product, if used previously, is cleaned and all the parts are included.

These are sturdy and are simple enough to instal. Got my kayaks off the ground and on the wall saving a ton of space. The straps adjust and you can install these in any width you could possibly want. Mounted on a block wall extremely sturdy. You will want your own mounting hardware, screws, bolts or whatever.
