  • Strong & Easy to Install
Ordered 2 sets for a queen bed. Supports are strong and were easy to install. Found it easier to connect to bed rails and then adjust the feet length used a level to confirm all supports were level. Much stronger than the wood slats the bed originally came with. Would recommend.

  • Effective and adaptable metal bed slats.
These slats effectively support my new hybrid mattress and wooden foundation. My old four poster bed has never had slats (bought used) and I didn't realize I needed them until I read the mattress warranty. After researching wooden slats I found metal options and decided on these. They were relatively easy to install though the directions were incomplete. Having read other reviews I was prepared with information omited in the instructions. A nice plus is that my double bed is narrow enough that I was able to use the slats separately. So I have four points of support accross the frame and placed the feet down the middle where the single bottom plank of the foundation runs lengthwise. Now the new mattress is fully supported and feels as stable and comfortable as the showroom model. Delivery was quick and trouble free. Also,I should add that the bed frame has 8 metal L supports (4 pairs) so I duct taped the slats to the metal supports. No drilling or rigging up wooden lenthwise planks as I had thought might be necessary. Foundation and mattress fit snug enough that I don't think there will be any shifting to the degree that might defeat the duct tape. Time will tell. Over all I extremely happy with the purchase ... show more

  • Great Product and Easy to Install
I have a King size bed that came with individual wooden supports and wooden slats. After 2 years the wooden supports were constantly falling and the slats started bending. We have wood floors with no carpet. I bought two packages of the bed slats for a total of 4 slats. They were very easy to drill into the bed frame and super sturdy. Have had them on for 5 months and no problems at all. Rarely, when getting onto the bed you hear them creak. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • They worked well!
There were two steel bed “slats” with “legs” to the floor. I had a heavy mattress that was sagging. Putting these 1/3 and 2/3 of the way down from the headboard worked perfectly! I got a “new” mattress for $95!

  • Start with a stiff drink, maybe that would help (don't wait until you've wasted 4 hours)
I am writing this as I stare at the screen with some bourbon in my hand. I could probably stop there, for those of you with some clinical acumen. But why. For the throngs of you who have rated this product so highly --- good for you. Not for me. Here's the thing. I never really thought it was possible to run out of curse words. Hyphenated, conjoined, completely made up ones. So, to all the engineers out there. Here's a question -- how many ways can you utterly, and totally, *&^% UP what should be one of the simplest assemblies, like, ever. We are now officially into hour 4. Seriously. I could have built an entire IKEA house by now. Are you kidding me? For starters: 1) Seventy bucks isn't a lot, but it's not a little either... for a couple pieces of poorly formed metal. 2) Having said that, could you not even assemble these two pieces of hellish, sharp-edged, non-attracting pieces of crap slats before you box it? Knowing how ridiculously difficult it will be for a layperson to do? With sharp-edged pieces of metal flapping and flopping about as you try to jam two things into one thing that is not big enough for the two things? 3) Having said that, the "cleat" as you call it is, understandably needing to hold said two freakish pieces tightly together. But, why would you make it a millimeter too small to accommodate said pieces of hell? What exactly is one to do with two freaking pieces of metal that you cannot conjoin? 4) The feet. Enough said. Are you kidding me? You could not make the feet one solid piece to be screwed in? Instead, you mysteriously include two bolts (no washers, mind you) but two bolts which will not -- and by will not I mean -- despite being tightened with a wrench multiple times --On both sides so, thats infinity x2 -- WILL NOT stay tightened. Why am I even having to place a bolt above the foot. Can you honestly answer that? How hard would it have been to make that foot solid. Are you kidding me? 5) Screws. The tiniest, petitest, most delicate little flowers they are. Seriously. to attach five pounds of whatever this crap is to a bed frame? 6) Are you kidding me? 7) I'm considering skipping the return ship and just asking for your corporate office address. I feel like, although they didn't work out for my bed, they are frightfully aerodynamic and would most likely get good loft. Until they hit your front windows I'm guessing. But then, they'd actually have served a purpose. Unlike right now. ... show more

  • Perfect support for my bed
My wooden queen bed had a very small lip on the sides on which the box springs and mattress were to rest but no center support. The mattress and box springs sat precariously on this small lip. I wanted a sturdy support going from side to side to support them and this center support system is exactly what I needed. It was very sturdy and simple and quick to put together and fit to the bed. I’m confident now that the bed has the support it needed. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Eh
Had very high hopes for the product. Was excited that they would take place of cheap wooden not sturdy slats and they did. Until, you put the foundation down and it became like a queen sized seesaw. I tried hammering down the slats to see if maybe they were not inserted enough but they were still very much uneven. Continuing to reread the directions didn’t get better. Needed the metal for stability. But do not recommend if you are counting on them being flat slats under your foundation. It will be a rocky situation. If using without foundation than it’s a great product and recommend. But had to purchase 2 sets for queen/king so you get 4 slats. Queen/King size is large and needs the support. One at the top and bottom and 2 in the middle evenly spaced apart. Other than that nice product. ... show more
